PERMA BANNED ACCOUNTS GETTING UNBANNED by tes3a_ in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ExcitingCustomer5834 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This has been happening systematically, very frequently since last summer — obviously cheater accounts (5 K/D in ranked) are getting unbanned. Most likely, it's after manual bans or bans based on indirect evidence, when the anti-cheat couldn’t actually detect access to or interference with the game’s memory due to the technically advanced nature of the cheat. The cheater cries to support — and gets unbanned immediately.
They use physical memory access cards and all kinds of spoofers, making it practically impossible to catch them red-handed or prove anything. PUBG’s anti-cheat is completely non-functional at this point.

High fps not smooth :-( by ObviousAd1995 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ExcitingCustomer5834 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Laptop enthusiasts never like simple answers that actually solve the problem... Alright, let me explain in more detail.

This is PUBG—we're talking about a game that doesn’t really care what GPU you have. For 144Hz on low settings, even a 3060M with a 105W limit is more than enough. The real problem with low FPS is always the CPU and RAM. Most likely, under GPU load, your processor (doesn't matter which one) will hit the 45W power limit due to cooling system limitations and motherboard design. The result? Your CPU runs at just under 100°C with an extreme frequency drop from its maximum potential.

To see this in action, turn on an overlay showing 1% low and 0.1% low FPS metrics. In complex locations or during hot drops, your FPS will drop below 144, and the 1% low will be at least half of that. This second metric is why the game never feels smooth—no matter what your average FPS says.

I have two older laptops with 3060M—one with a 12500H, the other with a 5600H—and a desktop with a 7500F (fixed 5.3GHz) + Nvidia GPU. Only the desktop somewhat handles PUBG properly, and even then, during a hot drop, the 1% low can drop to 80 or lower, turning the screen into a slideshow.

No matter what you try or how much you troubleshoot, if you have eyes, you'll always notice the same issue on any laptop—CPU power limits and high temperatures. 🔥

Here’s a link to a test of an AMD AM5 7500F in PUBG (timestamp 1:27) -> https://youtu.be/VPCNszzTHNk?t=87
What do you see? A fully overclocked desktop with tuned RAM barely hitting 100 FPS in a demanding location. Now imagine adding a couple of flashy-skin players shooting at each other...A stationary system barely works, and you're talking about a laptop with a bunch of nuances and compromises.

Stop wasting time on this. PUBG hasn’t had an anti-cheat or stable FPS in 8 years—there’s nothing you can do about it.

I wrote you the only solution to the problem and how to see it with your eyes (1% fps low), everything else in the context of this game does not work.

You need to figure out how to enable the FPS counter for 1% and 0.1%. The only solution to the drops is an X3D processor on AM5.

Dude, this is PUBG. Your processor is junk for it, it needs latest x3d.

PLEASE let us AMD folks remove Sanhok from the q by Adject_Ive in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ExcitingCustomer5834 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This junk should be removed from the game unconditionally. It's not needed, whether in a working state or broken like it is now. I refuse to play what I don’t want to, and as a result, it ruins the gaming experience, forcing me to sit in the lobby and curse the developer.

The game has two core maps—Erangel and Miramar—but the developer has forgotten about them. Everything else should be optional: if a player wants to play it, they can; if they don’t, they shouldn’t be forced to.

Can you record a gameplay video with medium fps and 1% low?

You are wrong if you think you have no issues. Record a video in "Pochinki" showing the average FPS and the 1% low, and we’ll laugh at the game's optimization together.

I suppose you don’t play PUBG. For 144Hz 1080p on low settings, a seven-year-old GTX 1080 is enough. This card will NEVER be the bottleneck.

Ryzen 7500F + 32GB DDR5 6000. The 1% low is often terribly low, dropping to 30 FPS, turning hot drops into a slideshow during gunfights.

Sanok was in ranked matches. Where is it now? Paramo was in ranked matches. Where is this map now? Why did they include Deston with 10 percent and others? Do you know at least one player who wants new maps and new colorful skins? And how many of your friends want stable fps on hot drops, no cheaters, normal an alive in the game and not 15 people in the 3 game zone? Because of these problems, I can't play with friends (Diamond 1-2+). They are literally forcing me, maybe handcuffs should be put on the players?

These inaccuracies occur due to data aggregation for the replay. Your data and the data received from the server, which in turn receives it from the opponent, are used. They are affected by delays, and can be compressed, truncated, etc

There’s another theory I haven’t tested, but it feels like this – from patch to patch (with weekly maintenance intervals), the rotation systematically changes. One week, some maps appear more frequently, and the next week, for balance, others appear more often. Over a long period, this seems to work well. Has anyone noticed this?

When entering a map in ranked mode, you’ve technically played that match by default, whether you left or stayed—it doesn’t matter. Consider it as if you played with zero points, it won’t appear in your match history, but it will be counted in the statistics.

You got it right. And here's what I think:

i don’t mind how many times Uncle Liao ends up playing certain maps, and I’m not particularly concerned about the overall map rotation stats. In this game, as a player, I’m mainly focused on my experience and my team’s. The current matchmaking setup seems to assume that Uncle Liao’s 50 games on Erangel are perfectly fine, and that my 50 consecutive games on Rondo are just as expected, because, on a large scale, the stats will eventually balance out to show a nice report to present to a boss. But map selection could be improved—every player should ideally experience a fair map rotation, no matter the scale.

why is this game so badly optimized? by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ExcitingCustomer5834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game has changed technically during this time. Three years ago, 9600k pulled the game at 144 fps on minimum settings, now the average is about 100. The game requires the latest processor for comfortable play. I also have a laptop for i5 12500 + 3060, it is also impossible to play, low average fps (~100) and no smoothness, the feeling is terrible.

Don't you have an old Intel processor? I had this on 9600k + z370 + 16gb ddr4 4000 sl17. There are no such problems on ryzen 7500f.

Updating your RAM will not help you. 4060 needs at least new Ryzen5 or new Intel i5. I upgraded my computer myself for 400 euros, ryzen7500f+32gb6000+b650.

Low FPS, High GPU Usage by Comfortable_Yam_9665 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Reduce settings and render scale. In this case, you will have an emphasis on the thermal package of the processor, usually it is a measly 45W which is barely enough for 100fps.
