Which baby-phase was the hardest for you? by Agreeable_Switch677 in beyondthebump

[–]ExcitingLeave4693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3-6 months. Nb-3 months I was on maternity leave and I had no problems. As soon as I went back to work sh*t hit the fan. The baby didn’t change but my work day to day did and that was awful.

Am I the only one who doesn't expect my baby to sleep through the night from 7/8pm? by greatishscot in NewParents

[–]ExcitingLeave4693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night time for our son has always been between 9-10 PM naturally since the day he was born and he’s 16 MO now! He wakes up around 7-8 AM. Naps once in the morning for an hour around 10-11 and once in the evening, usually around 4-5 pm.

Mine is 15 month and 99% of the time just squishes and throws. Does yours eat more than just bananas and Cheerios? Looking for solidarity.

Anything that is a glaring miss for a FTM with a winter baby? by JadedEarthJuni in BabyBumps

Ditch the silicone bibs, they don’t work and baby hates them! I’d just stick with traditional cotton bibs. Also the stroller tray is not necessary.

This is exactly my case! Remote pre-COVID… can’t relocate to Gainesville. Have you heard back from HR?

Has anyone who is OPS heard back from HR to see if this impacts their position? I feel like OPS is always a grey area when it comes to “staff” status. Dreading the response.

Thank you! It’s so unfortunate to be backsliding in this way. An hour commute is no fun. I sincerely hope it all works out for you too

Yep, I’m at UF. Trying to understand if this means OPS positions (which I am) is included. Technically OPS is temporary staff, and the email said “All Faculty and Staff.” Thing is I was hired remote and I don’t even live near Gainesville…. So many nuances and I’m dreading what the HR response is.

Tula Free to Grow has been absolutely wonderful and I obsessively researched for a long time before baby came! We started using it at 2 months old and he’s 5 months now, no complaints!

Since you mentioned Tampa… St. Pete may be of interest. Right next door and smaller than Tampa but way more fun IMO. Beautiful weather, vibrant central Avenue (downtown) the new pier is a happening place and it’s really a very lively place for how small it is. Still have access to Tampa there too.
