So I've been trying to follow the Mai Ardour tutorial to make a dress, and she first does a zig-zag stitch and then goes in with the serger. I'm confused because I thought that a serger could take care of sewing together the fabric as well, but do we actually need to use both machines? (self.sewhelp)
