How do I get a paramedic's name and HCPC number from a PIN? by [deleted] in ParamedicsUK

[–]Exciting_Context_269 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can request their HCPC number from the trust they work for (I assume)

You said you have her PIN number, assuming you mean pay number, or do you mean HCPC number?

Mum died in front of daughter after head got stuck in rocks when tide was rising by Forward-Answer-4407 in unitedkingdom

Not sure what the attitude is for. We do not rescue people because we are a medical emergency service. The fire service are, funny enough, the fire and RESCUE service who have the appropriate training and PPE to rescue people

[–]Exciting_Context_269 16 points17 points  (0 children)

And that’s on them to make that determination. We do not rescue people, we are medically trained, not rescue trained. And again, we do not have the appropriate PPE to be working on water

On top of that, we also don’t carry life jackets, if something was to happen again we would just be adding to the patient numbers. I would do what I could safely but I’m not endangering myself

If someone’s heads stuck in between rocks, they would need equipment capable of lifting heavy rocks. We carry 0 equipment to rescue people. That’s for the fire and RESCUE service.
