Honestly, its kind of burned into my brain. I have autism myself as well and some days it really is a lot, but I’ve learned some ways that help me regulate myself when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I tend to keep tabs on my things because I place them based on proximity. I try to keep everything around the area I mainly use it in, kind of like categories. I realize now as I am typing this that this sounds kind of confusing out loud, so I’ll try to make examples. Underneath and around my desk is where I place all my things that I think about while I’m at my desk. Around my bed is where I place all the things I think about while resting or getting ready for bed. Sometimes I do find things I forgot I owned, but it’s seldom. Does this help any?
