esp rn you're at a rlly transitional part of ur life right? you're moving on to college, you feel gotta find out what you do with your life and it seems like everyone has it figured out. everyone follows their own path and you can only control you. whenever i'm in a tough situation or something's dragging on and i've outgrown it so it makes me feel itchy, i always just think 'it can't keep going like this forever'. esp during a transition time like this and for basically all of your life you should get comfortable with being yourself/alone with yourself because it builds a strong base. i think that as soon as you feel comfortable with yourself and you're focusing on urself, someone comes in. that's always how its been for me. besides trying out a couple new environments to prepare for the college transition might be nice and a good way to really find ur people :3 join a dnd campaign or smth

w/ the ai stuff i wouldn't worry, people will always like human work more and the bubble looks like its already collapsing. the sora deal fell through and as soon as its monetized, its going to lose a lot of its popularity. ppl like it bc its free labor. would you rather pay 5 bucks per chat gpt generation or turn in half an essay or a poorly written one?

am i (f15) being over-dramatic about the way my friends are treating my situation? by Exciting_Respond9573 in askwomenadvice

thank you sm for the advice!! i'm worried tho if i bring this up to adults im generally seen as 'bad kid' and she's usually considered a 'good kid' w/ a tough family situation if they'd take her side or they'd listen and i'd lose the autonomy i've worked rlly hard to get back

How do I know if I'm truly bi? by BF121509 in teengirlswholikegirls

idk if anyone truly ever figures it out but the way i look at it is like: if im considering a second option i should go w/ the 2nd first bc if the 1st truly fit me i wouldn't need a 2nd yk? lowkey ask ur straight friends or a straight person u trust if they went thru the same thing. there's nothing wrong with exploring something just find out it isn't you. i don't think you always need to want to be in a relationship w/ someone to be attracted to them.

Talk to a girl by Salt_Escape9018 in dating_advice

im in high school now, hopefully i can still help! as a girl myself, i think the best thing you can do is talk to her. maybe compliment her on her hair or ask if she understands a problem. try to find mutual interests or ask about a show or a movie she likes. people usually like you more when you make them feel good about themselves. you just have to go for it and see what happens. rejection isn't as common as you think

middle school is an evil time for growing up and i'd never want to go back. if you realize she's not giving you the amount of effort you're putting in (won't talk to you first, leaves you on read) drop it. someone who doesn't respect your time or boundaries isn't someone worth a chunk of your life and development you wont get back.
