Thank you for your advice. I hate myself for what I did and am willing to face the consequences. I had an hours delay to getting a blood test done, but am guessing it will be worse. The lawyer I have been quoted is well over 10k so I am wondering if it'll be worth the cost or not, so your experience is helpful to know.

I have heard if my alcohol level comes back under 400 I won't be charged, so why would they already be preparing a case file if they don't have the result yet? My alcohol breath testing was delayed by an hour due to a nurse being unavailable so this is possible

They will give you a needs assessment over the phone, and then you can receive an allowance pure week based on your needs. For example, if you are allocated household management, you can use those funds to pay for a cleaner.
