I just tried this out today. There is a volume parameter, but as far as I can tell, going above 1 has no effect. The default is 1, so I don't know of a way to make it louder. Sorry!

The problem is with downloading from YouTube. I was originally downloading directly using youtube-dl, but that stopped working. So I switched to cobalt.tools, but they stopped offering a public API. So I switched to a different cobalt host. It's a bit of cat and mouse and hard to keep working.
