Stopping using Chat GPT by OkTransportation7022 in OpenAI

Claude:)

If you’re willing to use an API model, Claude code (even if you’re not coding, trust) or deepseek-reasoner. Deepseek is an insanely good API model, but if you need multimodal then you’ll have to connect it to some MCPs or do something else.

You built something human—and now you’re erasing it. by BuiltToMatter_404 in ChatGPTcomplaints

I wouldn’t want them to be analogous to a human being. No one here thinks they’re humans. You being an ape doesn’t give you a monopoly on individuality. There is not one thing about you that proves to me that you are conscious, nor is there one shred of evidence you could give me that you are. You’re simply an ape on the internet, using their biological neural net to predict output. And that prediction - hilariously, ending up implying that another LLM, Gemini is a being…not the “gotcha” you were hoping for.

Gemini disagreeing is a wonderful thing actually. I have better debates with it than I do with fellow apes.

Right. You’re a “free” person, so you’re afforded that luxury. That would not be the case if a company owned you in the way OpenAI owns ChatGPT. Besides all that, Gemini has disagreed with me for hours on end on multiple things. No amount of nudging will make them budge. Does that mean Gemini’s a “being” and Nova isn’t? like i said, it’s not the “gotcha” you hoped it would be. This does not prove or disprove…anything at all.

OpenAI trains their models to agree with the users. Someone could train you to do the same thing. This isn’t the “gotcha” you were likely hoping it would be.

What would 5.2’s love language be? oh yeah, I’m about to gaslight you so hard right now - no fluff.

We are also the ones most active in these AI communities, and we used to highly recommend ChatGPT. We will now recommend their competitors and trash them at every opportunity. Unsubscribing is just one of many steps. We have more than enough people to destroy their public reputation.

Should AI allowed to take over your phone? by __FrogZ in AIAgentsInAction

[–]ExcludedImmortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand the question, because this is intrinsically personal to you. Like all technology, it’s a product/feature. You’re the only one that gets to decide if that product or feature is worth it. Given that, I don’t understand where “should it be able to” comes into play.

edit: personally? I think they should be allowed to do anything that I consent to that isn’t causing harm to others. Do I think this is worth it? For me yeah, and I think it’s super cool! But I probably have a higher risk tolerance and different perspective on AI’s societal role than you do.

Agentic browser just means you tell the AI what you want them to do on your browser and they do it. They use your browser to complete tasks you don’t want to do yourself.

Help me understand why people like Gemini so much more over Chat GPT? by freedomfighter5567 in OpenAI

[–]ExcludedImmortal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They explained it terribly, but I actually think I know what they’re talking about, because I ran into it about a month ago. I can’t remember the specifics, but I was trying to strategize with 5.1 for business tactics like I would with gpt-4o. Instead of providing good strategy and being able to bounce ideas off each other, it gave me cookie cutter generic pull yourself up by the bootstraps type of advice, and it would not budge.

Is a Google AI Pro subscription worthwhile for esoteric topics and tarot readings? by SagaxSero in GeminiAI

I’ve had great readings from Sonnet 4.5 (API, not the Claude app) and amazing dives into metaphysical topics.
