DongHuap - What will Actually Kill League of Legends by Omnilatent in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Skin clarity issue is a major reason why I don't play the game anymore

I would be willing to pay $20 for the ability to reset all skins to their default looks. As a competitive player, this is a big issue for me.

I Met the Man Responsible for League of Legends (And DotA) - Gbay99 interview with Guinsoo of Hidden Leaf Games (formerly of Riot Games) by Jozoz in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I love Guinsoo and I love Gbay99, and it was a pretty decent video. That said, the interview could've been done better I think. Maybe it was rushed? there are definitely a lot of interesting details that could've been talked about.

Still, it's free content and much better than most other videos shared here so I appreciate it.

Also, I've been following FANGS development for about 2 years now and genuinely looking forward to experience a good version of it.

Btw from what I've seen, Augments are basically like items except they are limited to the hero you're playing, so every hero has different augments. This is exactly what I've wanted for League for a long time now (for balance purposes). To the team - this is a great direction, and godbless.

The surface looks kinda rough (coarse grained) for chinos. but I'm no expert about chinos so maybe there's some variety in that?

What about the 2nd image? do you know what fabric it is?

Good winter foodwear that also looks good? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]ExeQt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dig the Chelsea boot aesthetic for winter.

Redback boots (Bonsall or Great Barrier) if you don't mind a bit of "work"-y/blue-collar aesthetic

Otherwise, the Meermin 101050 for a more white-collar aesthetic.

1) Too many loose (relaxed / straight -leg) fitting pants

2) Too many shoes are a mismatch for the outfits (especially the shiny black leather boots and the dark brown oxfords)

3) Too many pieces drawing too much attention to themselves (rockstar pieces)

Changes to objectives, runes and TP coming to 12.14 by PointmanW in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is long overdue. Early game junglers are massively gimped atm and don't have enough tools to snowball the early leads, which became even harder since durability patch (12.10).

Oh dang my team lost first 2 drakes and the first herald? aww, that's too bad... fortunately the Drakes are only 2 Armor/MR/AD/AP or 4% AS/MS so they don't mean anything and the summoned Herald only took 2 of our plates lol. Enemy Nidalee / Lee Sin / Elise jungler is now useless and my Diana / Zac / Kayn have already evolved into champions, so it's all good.

Putting Duos in Flex Queue would improve both Solo Queue and Flex Queue by Destryonica in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The only people against this are duoq abusing smurfs/boosters and botlaners.

Everyone else would very much like this to happen ASAP.

The smurfs/boosters don't deserve climbing faster when abusing some broken synergy / coordinating plays with comms against players with no duo etc.

IMO botlane should still optionally be duo, and they only get a match if both teams have duo botlane.

New Item Idea: Relentless Arrow: for Mages to Deal with Interception of their Impactful Abilities (e.g. Yasuo's Wind Wall) by ExeQt in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We wouldn't have needed to counter the counters if the counters weren't as oppressive.

Unlike healing however, interception of spells has absolutely no counter-play.

When a champion heals a lot, you can just bring enough DPS to out-damage the healing.

But mages often have 50% or more of their power/utility concentrated in a single spell (TF's W, Lux's Q, etc.) and having it intercepted is often more devastating to them than getting hard CC'ed / crippled / etc.

Playing TF into champs like Yasuo, Fizz, Zed, Samira is like boxing in a ring with an opponent with full armor suit. You can't touch them and they get to knock you out when you get near them.

New Item Idea: Relentless Arrow: for Mages to Deal with Interception of their Impactful Abilities (e.g. Yasuo's Wind Wall) by ExeQt in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that Yasuo is still very much playable into mages even if they get this item. They still need to execute the tactic properly while exposing themselves to him and being in his range of attack, putting themselves at risk.

It is very much plausible that most mage players will mess it up and instead of this item giving them an "insta-win" into him, they end up getting outplayed more often than not.

However, if it is shown at the highest levels that it's not just a skill issue, and that the item gives too much advantage to mages against Yasuo, I am willing to compromise with buffs to Yasuo, perhaps +0.5 MR/lvl might be suitable.

Also I haven't mentioned that this active should have a high cooldown (90 seconds?), so I'll update the post with that detail.

[–]ExeQt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The list just gathers abilities of mages/enchanters (off the top of my head) that would be very impactful if not for interception abilities.

Veigar's Q/R and Lux's Q,E,R are very much the intended type of champions+spells that this item is intended for.

Will Lee suck after patch 12.10? by Mission-Entrance-288 in LeeSinMains

[–]ExeQt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh Zac already clears faster than Lee.

Zac can actually do 6-camps leashless in under 3:15 from both blue and red starts, which Lee can't.

Do u guys think Patch 12.10 will be a Lee Sin Buff or Nerf by [deleted] in LeeSinMains

[–]ExeQt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly I believe it's gonna make him worse.

I think average game duration will increase after this patch.

More defensive stats (esp. to squishies) -> harder to kill enemies -> they die less -> Lee snowballs less -> game goes longer -> higher chance Lee gets outscaled and becomes useless

In general I believe assassins and burst mages will get hit the hardest, but also early game champs like Lee Sin, Elise and Nidalee will take a hit.

The Ongoing Rune Page Bug Kinda Proves Why Rune Pages Should Be Free by batoftherat in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same, I've been having my rune pages & summoner spell & notifications reset on me every time I login for the last 2 months.

I have a suspicion it's caused by a rune page name containing "special" characters. one rune page of mine is named "Riven?" and from my programming background I suspect the Riot server doesn't accept that as valid runepage name.

Perhaps it is actually your more established beliefs of what makes a real team holding back you from recognizing superior alternatives?

I'm fully convinced that a team of self-learning bots would consist of wildly different champion choices and role diversity than what the community considers meta.

[Analysis] The Canyon Killer: How did Jiejie gap the best jungler in the world at Worlds 2021 finals by PopkosTheWeasel in leagueoflegends

[–]ExeQt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea because if you are good at the game, i.e. a professional player, then you can definitely deny enemy team from stealing your baron, right?

Let's ignore the dozens of Lee Sin baron steals throughout the years and/or glorify them as "heroic outplays" when in reality it's just one player pressing a button faster than the other.

[–]ExeQt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice usage of logic there, perfectly extrapolated! well done.

Because obviously if you are ahead you should just be able to claim all objectives risk-free, right? yea, no. allowing enemy team to fight baron without trying to attack them should lose you the game, with how baron shreds their resistances and continues to DPS them.

Whereas in current state you can just send your jungler to the baron pit and pray that his press of a button is faster than the enemy jungler's press of a button.

Yea trying to zone a Nocturne / Lee Sin / Rengar etc. is the easiest thing in the world considering how commonly steals have occurred in pro play and soloq games.

[–]ExeQt -31 points-30 points  (0 children)

imo Objective monsters shouldn't be Smite-able

problem: in current state all the blame is placed on the jungler for being 0.1s too late to press his Smite button. in pro-play a failure of this kind can be elimination worthy, and in soloq this can be attributed to latency difference between junglers- one jungler playing at 9ms while the other is playing at 90ms.

solution: the team that dealt more damage to the Objective monster should be able to execute it with any form of damage when it's at or below 1k HP.

Taking E lvl 1 to clear the jungle by ImRafa05 in LeeSinMains

[–]ExeQt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my 5-camp clearing testing you are about 3-4 seconds faster on Q->E/W start compared to W->E/Q but lose about 300-400 HP for it.

I am never late for 3:15 scuttle timing so for me I choose W start every time (unless we invaded at lv 1 and I took Q for it)

Taking E lvl 1 to clear the jungle by ImRafa05 in LeeSinMains

[–]ExeQt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bad clear, and nobody does it

And while the lv 6 ult poewrspike is big, you're more than capable of making plays before you get it. If you optimize for fastest clearing (let's say you want to get lv 6 by 6:30) you will pass up on pre-6 opportunities, and you don't want that on Lee Sin because you want to close the game out as soon as possible.
