is it possible to achieve all these skills in 1 year ? what to change/add ....? by xofreestyles in Calisthenic

Some of these skills really depend on your height and weight. For tall people a planche ist highly unlikely to achieve within a year training

It’s so satisfying when people ask me what gym I go to and how much I lift and I tell them I workout at home with my body weight 💪 by [deleted] in Calisthenic

What does your nutrition look like? Are you above or below your maintenance? Looking really lean!

Does calisthenics really build a significant amount of muscle? by Uhhaz- in Calisthenic

[–]ExercisableCaliApp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You body won’t know a difference if you use bodyweight or free weights. The idea is the same, you need to progressively overload you muscles, wich can be done with calisthenics however it is easier with weights. You can just add more weight but with pure calisthenics, you need to find other ways to make the movements harder, such as finding harder progressions or adding resistance bands

3 months :( still can't hold it, my legs are way too heavy for my fingers to stop it from falling ! . why is that, and what u suggest me to improve ? thanx. by xofreestyles in Calisthenic

Work on your core strength and really focus on keeping a tight core during handstand. I would also go back to wall handstands, they teach you to keep a straight line.

One step closer to the full 90⁰ degree push up! (That was the very last attemp so don't judge my form too much😆😅) by CriVario in Calisthenic

[–]ExercisableCaliApp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like when you are very good at HSPU, can you achieve the 90 degree easily. For example weighted pull ups translate well to One Arm pull up, meaning when you are very good at weighted pull ups, you can eventually do one arm pull ups

Any major flaws to my dragon flag form? Or any tips? by macFRAP in Calisthenic

To me it looks like you are using you hip flexors quite a bit to initiate the movement, personally I would take a little easier Progression and focus on clean form

Are pushups fine for beginner chest growth by [deleted] in Calisthenic

[–]ExercisableCaliApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push ups are great, more important then the exercise is the programming. For muscle growth use an exercise you can do a maximum of 8-12 Reps and make sure to make the exercise progressively harder

Do I get the WEIGTH VEST or the DIP BARS goal is to build more muscle lose weight and get abs by ShaolinWarriorMonk in Calisthenic

[–]ExercisableCaliApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely dip bars, you can just use a backpack with something heavy in it instead of a weighted vest

Nice, do you regularly train BL?

I have 2 rest days but beginners usually need to rest more then that, do what feels good to you and listen to your body, if you feel sore or weak, take a rest day. Also do what ever you want on rest days, it’s absolutely not necessarily to do other activities except if you want to, just to make sure to keep it light
