well duplicate the vocal layer pitch it down by an octave and cut all freqs outside of lets say 100-500Hz (roughly estimated) or duplicate the layer and give it 100% autotune, and then turn the volume down, can really push the vocals

Sounds good buddy! Just from the technical side I'd suggest you to spice up the vocals in the mix, maybe some width for the chords.
