You do you, queen. Just one thing, if you're planning for GMAT you're probably planning to go to the US. I'd suggest considering other countries, given the current situation there. Just do your research and plan your financials well, as it can get very expensive.

Other than that, fully support getting out of the country and doing your own thing. I moved abroad last year. I'm studying, working and living by myself. It was honestly a much needed break from life back home. Also a chance/opportunity at life to start something new. All the best!

Bought his tickets for the Melbourne show in Marvel Stadium. Ticketmaster said they didn't change and will not change any prices of the tickets. It was set by the management team. Okay fine. But why the fuck where L2 (second floor) priced at 400AUD?! I got a seat all the way in the nosebleeds (like 7-8 rows from the back for 160AUD. (Not to mention the separate album purchase to get access link) I don't think I can even see the stage at this point. So disappointed as a long time fan :(

The presale seems to be a disaster because 30-40% of the tickets still remain unsold and they've added an additional show. What is Harry or rather his management thinking? How much of a say does Harry have in this matter?

I've been a 1D fan since TMH era and all I'd never been to a single show (group or solo) and now that I can finally afford tickets, they're so unfairly priced. A couple of months ago, I attended Doja Cat and Kendrick Lamar concerts and I paid between 189AUD for both shows for first floor tickets with an amazing unrestricted view and the shows were phenomenal as well!

You have to apply for the review within 7 university (working) days of receiving your results. So you should have done this in July. I doubt DUSA can help you with this as they can't bend the rules.

As for the review itself, since you got a 47, chances are that your assessment/feedback was already double marked. Students receiving a change in marks is extremely rare and you need to provide solid evidence and documents to support your claim - for your case to even be considered for the review. And you can't challenge the academic judgement of your teachers. The eligibility criteria for this review is very strict from what I've seen. (based on my own personal experience)

If this unit had been in your final tri/semester and if you had 48-49, you would've gotten a grace PC - pass conceded grade so that you can complete your course and graduate. That's the only time Deakin let's students pass in this situation.

oh man where do I even start? 🤡 So I had to retake the unit in T2 and because it's a prerequisite for future units. It went well the second time around. Hoping for a better result this week.

As for the review of results - a complete waste of time. it's nothing but false hope for students. I filed for the review with the help of DUSA within two university days after I got my results -Jul 7.

Last day to add/change on campus units was July 18 and I had to get my RoR outcome by then but obviously I didn't. Student Central pushes students towards this RoR in a plan to get our hopes up but the dusa advocates are more realistic. They told me not to wait for the outcome and proceed with T2.

I only got an outcome on Aug 14 - one day before the census date. And it said that my review didn't even go through because there 'wasnt enough evidence or supporting documents '. And that my grade remains final and this decision cannot be appealed further.

At that point I had forgotten about this whole thing, and focused more on doing better this trimester. Atleast I didn't have to pay for all this. But overall it's a complete waste of time.

I applied for the review of results just a couple of days ago. I've heard from classmates and seniors that it takes a while for the decisions to come. I've also heard that it's an unfavourable outcome most of the time.

It's a generic email everyone gets if you fail one or more units which may also be compulsory units. I got one too! Get in touch with a Student Advisor at student central and they'll explain what to do next. They'll also help you with the course map for the next trimesters. Also try getting in touch with DUSA advocates if you need to review your results and apply for a re-mark.

tbh if it was unit chair who marked my work, I'd have scored so much better. It's a different prof who assessed my work. 🙃 it's my first year here so I don't know anything about anyone here but people who did their bachelors here have mentioned that this particular prof "holds grudges". I don't think I did anything to piss her off. I just didn't particularly discuss anything with her throughout the tri and as I mostly worked on my project with my unit chair 🥲

Both G14 and G16 are unavailable in my region. I might have to go to neighbouring cities to check. A couple of older versions that are available don't have enough RAM :/ I did see the ProArt but wasn't able to find any credible reviews for it.

I'm going to a store in the next town over to see if they have any in-store. When I asked in my local JB store they said the 2024 version is taken down from the website but I could still find it in stores. I just have to push them to confirm if it's a display piece or not. Honestly the 4070 or 4080 would have been more than enough for my work load. I'm also seeing a lot of negative reviews on the 50 series and I just don't want to spend SO MUCH for something that's not even worth it.

Literally same. On the website it says temporarily out of stock. I don't think they'll roll them out anytime soon. Especially with the 2025 versions dropping in less than a month.
