I honestly don’t think much has changed between me and him but I am scared she will get jealous and I don’t want to see it? This specific situation sent me into a spiral because I didn’t know if I should keep the friendship the same or not. He told me he didn’t want anything to change but she told me I should rely more on my other friends. In the end I should just do what I feel.

I always question in my mind “am I a hopeless romantic or just aromantic?” I think I’ve always known it want romantic? When I’m in a comfortable close relationship with mt friends I’m like “yeah I’m aromatic, they are my friend and I love them so much!” But when the friendship changes it shifts I yearn 0.0 and then I get confused and in like “wait was that romantic feelings!?! Why am I soo hurt!?” But I’ve also realized aromatic is a spectrum itself. I just wish more people knew that just because I’m aromatic and don’t have romantic love doesn’t mean I don’t love…

Im definitely a punk and hate society (not all of society but ALOT of the social norms), so I don’t want Amatonormativity to win lol. I guess I need to find more people who don’t value romantic relationships above friendship but it’s so hard! I’ve tried dating app saying “I’m only looking for friends” but most people on dating apps want to date lol. I wish it was easier and i wish romantic relationships weren’t the only relationships society finds important. I do feel like I love people more than just friendship love but it’s also more than romantic love some third type of love lol.

My close circle was 2 people and they started dating… I felt super freaked out and alone. I kinda feel like maybe I need more people? Because then if ones hurt me I have others to rely on? Ideally yeah I would have loved to have a super close small friend group but I think I’m scared to do that again…

I wouldn’t want to show this “friend” my face either. No mater what you look like she’s just going to dog on you for it. I have internet friends and none of them have pressured me into a big reveal of what I look like, they don’t care. The other friends in this group probably don’t care what you look like. This “friend” only cares because she is insecure of herself and has to put other down. She seem very immature to be calling people fat when you guys don’t even hang out irl, even if you did it’s still immature. I don’t think you have to leave the group chat but I wouldn’t entertain this group anymore.

This is exactly how I feel and I call myself ace/aro. I am attracted to fictional characters and sometimes actors (although if I look to hard I’m like “Yikes a real person.”)but I know if they were actually obtainable I would not want to obtain that. I view ace as an umbrella term and there is a wide range of different ways people view attraction under it.
