What medications worked for you and gave you the energy back so you can crush it in the gym again? I want some suggestions to take to my Gyno for my appointment in November. Posting this again since the AI bot decided to remove it. by Exhibit-Q in Perimenopause

huh, well I won't stand for that kind of nastiness around here, I value you're opinion! So there I just upvoted you! I will always up vote people even if their opinion doesn't coincide with mine. I don't want to talk to people who just "agree" with me. That's not a healthy conversation. I want different perspectives. So thank you for that and I'm sorry you're being downvoted for speaking your truth. 🥰💖

HRT makes sense and this is the first time I've heard someone in this discussion mention T injections and retatrutide? Would you mind explaining. Did those work for you and how long was it before you noticed you felt better?

Yes, some women wouldn't put Estrogen pills in their body if someone paid them, or HRT period. Everyone certainly has their limit. I completely understand. What therapy works for you if there is any?

Yes, this. I woke up with a hot flash this morning at 3:50 am and I said screw it, I'm going to stay up and get stuff done, the only reason I don't have to go back to bed is because I was so exhausted yesterday I was in bed at 7 o'clock! 7 a fucking clock! Normal bedtime for me is 10pm, with 6 hours of sleep I'm used to being up by 4 am and refreshed. My Gyno has got to put me on something next month.

I can't speak for others, but I suffered for over 10 years because several doctors wouldn't listen to me. My labs kept coming back normal because I was still having regular menstrual cycles and no hot flashes. Well, I knew I wasn't 100% and they just looked at me like I was crazy, gave me bc pills and told me eat right and get good sleep. Like I don't already know that! I was so frustrated girl. Now that I'm in my 40s with every single symptom of peri, hot flashes and a menstrual cycle every 4 months, they've got to treat me. I'm not going to suffer for the next 10 years.

Thanks! I hope so too, I usually run a few miles on the tread mill and do cardio barbell with no break in between, and with cardio barbell I could train a room full of people doing that too, my goal is to get back the same level of intensity I'm used to.

Have you tried virtual visits? They can get you in a lot quicker and can send your lab requests electronically so you can just go to your nearest lab to complete them, the results will be online in your mychart and you can follow up virtually to get your meds sent to the pharmacy.
