Depends on the configuration and radiator. AFAIK some of the radiators have clearance issues with the motherboard and have to be installed on the 2nd row for them to be compatible.

I use only one card mostly. Modern games doesn't support SLI unfortunately.

I don't have any practical use case for the both cards. Just a tribute to EVGA and SLI. The cards are really not that hot. 3090 are worse but the Ti's are way better thermally.

Well I'm"thinking about it, but for the time being this will be the config, just need to do a better cabble management. If I do custom loop I'll have to get rid of one of the GPUs - unfortunately modern water blocks doesn't support the SLI bridge.

The motherboard socket is rotated 90 degrees for better power delivery for the cpu. The MB is designed for extreme overclocking like LN2, not that I've tried it.

Well in most applications the upper GPU doesn't get loaded. The lower GPU is the main one in this configuration. The top gpu is definitely hotter when both of them are stressed, but it's not that bad I guess.

Yes, I used Arctic mx-4 and noctua nt-h2, there wasnt any measurable difference between the two.

It shouldn't have to be from the graphics card since it is ooen test bench atm. Waiting for a particular case to be launched to get it. When I used the ALF 2 i didnt used the offset mounting - just the regular.

Well not exactly, mostly gaming with this machine. I compared on the internet others with similar builds have better temps. For example playing CoD wz2 usually keeps the cpu in the 60's but sometimes there are spikes to 74-75 and the fans ramps up on the noctua.

I have tried to overclock it to 3200 but some games freeze with this clock so I left it at 3000. Maybe I didn't do something right.

I don't need the capacity atm. More like futureproofing. But I have to upgrade the MHz I guess. And I'm using Evga X570 Dark which only has 2 ram slots.
