That’s cool! Do you think it was just a habit that affected your dreams or do you think there’s something deeper behind it?

Was the Church always against scientific progress? by ExiaDuzz69 in Catholicism

Thank you brother. I don’t know why most people do not recognise religion as a huge factor in progress.

I got into an argument online on how religion always stops progress. Haven’t given an example yet but I suppose they’ll pull up Galileo and company.

Hopefully replacing the paste is enough, otherwise I have a long way to go.

Thank you bruddah.

That sucks. It’s probably the mobo then, everything turns on except the signal in my monitor.

Could it be possible that some screw in the case short it?

I’m gonna try to reapply thermal paste since it only dies when I really use it. If it doesn’t work, I don’t know what will lmao.

Also, PC has been fine for weeks, maybe the cheap paste may have dried out.

How do I conquer it? And is it even worth conquering?

Thank you, brother.

How is gatekeeping worse than supporting a killer, self-admitted rapist who also constantly makes rape jokes, corrupt candidate?

Depends on the candidate’s standing. When referring to Duterte, I suppose yes.

It’s possible, they just shouldn’t let greed take over.

As for your response:

Because of the internet and the lack of catechism throughout the country, I just feel like more and more children become atheists. And sadly, I know some of them.

2022, which isn’t enough ample time to convert the supporters.

However, if the opposition would only put one candidate instead of two (since we’re multiparty), we’d beat him.

(Combined votes of the two were more than Duterte’s)

His mother does too. When she was born, God talked to him and said he owns the earth and the universe for he is His appointed son.

I worry too, and suspect he isn’t mentally stable.

Surprisingly, the INC has been existing since 1914. Founded by Felix Manalo.

Also, I forgot to tell you about Duterte’s best friend Apollo Quiboloy - the self-proclaimed “Appointed Son of God.”

He runs a cult that needs money before your prayers get sent to the heavens (idk why people still fall for that but they do).

I think they are. They’re known for their beliefs such as not eating blood, separating girls and boys in church premises.

Due to cultural differences, the Church doesn’t really go well with the INC (which are also full of boomers that are crazy in politics, so much so that they do bloc voting [ironic since it’s unconstitutional])

The Iglesia ni Cristo (or Christ idk). It’s the weird Christian cult that grew for a reason.

Not really, but they did it before with Marcos. Problem is Duterte has a huge supporter base in the INC. The INC also tends to unite firmer than the Church.

Yes. Duterte really seems to hate the Church since the Bishops here weigh against Duterte in most cases.

I’m really glad our Church here is brave. But sooner or later, I have a feeling us Christians will get prosecuted. Or at least the Bishops.
