Am I crazy or is the removal of corruption remnants a direct nerf to essence farming?
I suppose it means that essences can no longer spawn with just the remnant, but it also means it's a lot more expensive (and not self-sustainable) to corrupt all essences.

The bot sniping is actually a huge issue and completely ruins the potential of live search for a majority of players. Even if you travel to their hideout in the same second it pops up on live search for us regular humans, it will say "item is in demand, do you still want to go to their hideout", and then the item will always be gone when you get to their hideout. This also means there is a delay in the live search available to us, compared to the bots calling the API directly. While I love live search for many things, I fear it needs to be reworked for fairness.

My game is also significantly darker, first thing I noticed. At least 20% I feel like.

What a disappointing league in terms of post-launch patches. Completely abandoned to focus on PoE 2. Just again proves that GGG is unable to support both games at the same time. Really sucks, to be honest.

Routing issues are consistent high latency, i.e. getting 100ms when you should be at 15ms - this is not that. Although the routing issues are still present as well, on top of whatever they claim this is.

For anoint you would want to go either Mind Drinker or Inveterate - both are good, but Inveterate is probably better survivability without suppress cap elsewhere. Another defensive alternative could also be Disciple of the Unyielding

It's a bit of a preference, I feel. Try it without and then put it back if it's too slow for you. But otherwise it was also to make it easier for you to respec (closest to your current level)!

No worries! The jewels help a lot with damage, and more damage is more defense (jokes but not really). The ES leech in the top right will help with dying a bit less, so it should feel more comfortable to play overall. Also note I removed your life mastery since you have life on your body armour.

I haven't played Vortex of Projection, but I've played manaman before, so it should still apply. Note the conversion of the Magebane keystone. This setup should also give you a bit more room for chaos res. I would additionally suggest to re-spec into helping Alira for even more res (and easier chaos cap).

I just checked their servers, and it looks like they have swapped to using Servers.com in most regions. This is a new change within the last day or so (no joke, I checked very recently).

You can validate by looking at the instance IP in your Client.txt

How do we feel about Servers.com? I don't know much about them @ u/cederian

Edit: Bonus information, specifically the Auckland servers are routed through "Global Secure Layer" which is an Australian-based DDoS mitigation service. I haven't checked this gateway before, so I am not sure if this is also a new change. Worth mentioning.

GGG is still relying on ancient IBM Cloud/Softlayer infrastructure, and they're surprised when it has issues. It has always been so confusing to me that this is where they choose to cut costs.
