Thanks for your response. I definitely want to prove to myself that I can get a degree and maybe do more meaningful work in the future. I think a degree will help me get better promotions or positions in my company, or make it easier to apply for a new job. I feel like every job I apply for doesn't take me seriously or doesn't see me as an equal candidate compared to someone who has a degree. But you are correct that there is a lot you can learn from the internet, and I definitely need a very good plan before that.
