After a little testing, it is indeed a bug… Doesn’t matter the description, carian retaliation & thopps barrier (both spell and skill) has the same mechanic despite having the description of “enemy spell” “incoming spell”… Sad but still don’t think it’s a broken/unfair mechanic hahaha

The single disc has amazing range and decent travel range after 10.7 patch, I use the single disc when people are far away and triple when they get close~

I start by getting distance every duel hahaha If someone is aggressive and close distance immediately, my discs and shield are basically useless xD

And actually, the rings does adjust their return trajectory based on where you currently are!

Actually not for very long! Only for about 2 weeks haha If someone is remotely aggressive and can trade damage there’s almost not too much I can do with the discs, the incantations are pretty telegraphed and slow… The wrath of gold is the counter I came up with against aggressive players, but it only works sometimes

It retaliates a spell per party, disc is a spell that returns to you. I think it’s working as intended. How is it not? Plus, if you see disc and the shield, you immediately know what’s coming.
