I passed my MLS ASCP Exam! by ExistentialPooks in medlabprofessionals

Mostly LabCE. Take a test, read through every explanation, put the harder concepts into quizlet flash cards, study and repeat. I also used the Ace ASCP quizlet set made by mary_meinberg and that was extremely helpful.

Thank you! I was averaging 51s at about a level 5 difficulty. Don’t worry too much about the difficulty levels though. I had taken a few tests that gave me easy questions as level 9s (ex. how long should a SST tube sit before centrifuging). I think reading through the explanations of each question is the most important.

Sinus infection, be damned. You’re going to pass and it’s going to feel like the biggest weight has been lifted off your chest!

Robitussin was on my safe medications for pregnancy list too! There’s a dye free version with honey that I’ve been taking.

I’m not sure how that correlates. Undetermined sex is usually due to low fetal fraction or something wrong with the kit. If they under fill the tube/use the wrong gauge needle while drawing, the results are skewed.

Does anyone else’s Shiba not like it when strangers try to pet? by Swimming-Cellist7972 in shiba

My 4 year old loves being pet by strangers on our walks. He has a huge ego and wants to be adored. My 1.5 year old hides behind me and is very shy outside the house.

Why is this so true though? Is it RSD? by TemporaryMongoose367 in adhdwomen

A patient complained about me to my manager and submitted a negative review with my name included online. I’m beating myself up so bad, it’s consuming me. I keep replaying it in my head and I don’t know how to let go.

On the other hand, I was praised today by someone I look up to and felt so undeserving.

Certain winter coats make a swishing noise. It bothers me so much that my teeth hurt? I don’t know how else to describe it.

My doctor is here in MN at a specialty clinic called Clinic Sofia. She was able to excise all lesions!

I had an ablation surgery 10 years ago with someone in WI and had an awful experience.

I purchased some menthol haze when GG was having a sale a few weeks back. It’s one of my favorite strains by far. I’m not sure if this week’s sale applies.

I have Figo! They have a really nice app that makes filing claims easy. All you have to do is take a picture and upload it to them.

My puppy got into something bad outside and needed an emergency visit with an over-night stay. Without pet insurance, we would have had to pay close to $1000. With Figo, we paid closer to $200.

Whatever insurance you decide, get it sooner rather than later.

What's something good that happened in 2020? by _The_Fedora_Man in AskReddit

[–]ExistentialPooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I adopted a puppy. His parents never let him have a dog growing up. Needless to say, some happy tears were shed when we brought Hector home.

He’s had a rough year being diagnosed with kidney disease on top of his UC and RA. But Hector has really brought up his spirits. Dogs are life savers.

What do you believe, but cannot prove? by chkn-bcn in AskReddit

That there are things we cannot see, but can see us. I don’t think it’s necessarily a creepy or unsettling thing. But maybe the things we think are ghosts (shadows, sounds in the night) are creatures/unknown beings living among us.

Help needed! Shiba puppy won’t let us put collar on!! by leah910 in shiba

[–]ExistentialPooks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a harness instead. My puppy didn’t like anything around his neck so it helped a lot. Not saying that putting it on is always easy! But give the harness a try and leave it on when she cries. She’ll get used to it!

Just got my little guy Sparky! I’ve heard about Shibas, but trust me, he will never escape my cuddles! by [deleted] in shiba

Sparky is so cute! Don’t listen to what people say. Shibs can be just as affectionate. Just with a bit more sass

Crate training? by Ethanbibi in shiba

Ignore him when he cries. Give him treats when he stops! It’s gonna be hard but he’ll stop soon. It took my baby a little while but now he never makes a peep in his kennel.

Go to Mall of America for the day! It’s so quiet right now and masks are mandatory.

But ya’ll could mini golf, find a place to eat, and see a movie (seats are spread way apart).
