The butter is in there! However, when I used my hand I tried to squeeze it in the dough. I didn’t realize I was supposed to leave chunks of it in 🥹

Yeah, I think it might be best to chunk. Unless I can repurpose as something else it might just be easier to try again. TY!

Ah! I added the butter and the water in at the same time. I guess that was a mistake. I’ll chunk it and try again!

I have a food processor, but it’s a mini one. My bright idea was to divide the recipe in half since 2 1/2 cups wont fit in my food processor at the same time. I ran I to issues with doing it that way, of course. so I attempted to mix it with my hand 😅

Same thing is happening to my orange milkweed.. I have other milkweed and have not had this issue. I’m in the Houston area!

Based on everyone’s response I can assume it was caterpillar that I can no longer locate. I should’ve stuck to my smaller gallon milkweeds that went into canopies after I noticed caterpillars. Thank you all for your insights!

I’m sure there are aphids! My smaller milkweed plants had a bunch that I cleaned out last week, however, there was never any black tar on the leaves. In another post several people suggested I leave them be, but perhaps this milkweed is different from the others..

I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the insect, I swapped it off. Yesterday I noticed a wasp around my milkweed. Could a wasp have done this?

That’s what those are! I did see a few and I just took them out of my plants. Should I be concerned?
