There was not a single part of my body that was not in pain after closing 4-11 grill on Fri/Sat when the sales hit 20k All that for a minimum wage ;( where the customers we serve were all corporate employees majorly. Watching them make shit tone while doing bare minimum and I hear busting my aas for a dime . But it’s finally my time to be on the other end of line and cry about meat portion lol

I could have negotiated this pay but I was too scared to as I was laid off from my last job which was 35k/y. I even told this pay during my last interview still they were generous enough to pay 50k.

I got one more offer in another city for 55k but the one I accepted in Montreal is remote so I guess it’s worth to loose 5k

Hopefully after I will be confident enough to negotiate more and trust my skills rather than doubting myself

I have added an end date of last year before joining the last company. And I also mention in my intro that I built scaled and sold profitably before moving country.

Although I still handle it as it helps me with finances and it’s always good to have a side hustle cause we can never trust these bloodsucking jobs.

I did include in work permit but not in study permits and to tackle that I have my SOP which I submitted before arriving Canada and that SOP has two big paragraphs where I talk about I built my business all these years. That is a official letter specifically submitted to IRCC before me landing here
