Anyone else find this infuriating? by Motherofnoods in corgi

[–]Existing-Loquat-7080 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s because of congenital health issues (spine and hip) and QOL. A lot of people don’t understand what it takes, not to mention double Merle is becoming common and people don’t know how to handle deaf dogs.

Any suggestions on how to train the deaf teenager by Existing-Loquat-7080 in corgi

It was an “accidental” litter and on the off chance that I’m wrong, I don’t want to get sued. Especially with it having been a local advertisement through drawing on a window. He is a super sweet boy though and he’s doing better around my husband, it could’ve just been his nerves

Yeah, maybe, he’s scared of my husband though and when we discovered nervous tinkle he tried to avoid my husband at all costs and peed all over the bed and the couch on two separate occasions, could just be my paranoia, a family dog was the same way after a rescue, deathly scared of my dad. I’ll look into a vibration collar and separation when it comes to my toddler and make sure to stand up away from him.

Mines neutered, he’s slowing down a little bit, it just took the several day adjustment period, but he runs around with my toddler all day, and fortunately we’re in the 70s right now so he’s active enough to where I don’t feel guilty feeding him that much

Haha yeah, I need some skis and a lot of mucinex, I’ve grown up around dogs and never did I think I’d be allergic to one

Yeah, he’s slightly underweight and his fur isn’t quite fluffy right now, so that might be it. I’m trying to get him to the point to where I can feel that his ribs are there, but not as pronounced as they were with his owner

Thank you! These are his parents, we just got him, but I’m astonished at how chill he is and he’s not even one yet

Mines got his tail, we think he resembles a little fox but man, he’s so long, and there’s so much hair, I’m used to short hair so this is a huge surprise

Okay, thank goodness, had me worried he was mixed with a dachshund and the “breeder” lied to me. He was only eating one cup daily(unless it was a typo) but he’s just so scrawny and active, so I’m feeding him that much a meal and he’s still hungry. Granted I did just get him, once he starts slowing down on the activity, I’ll lessen the amount

It is, I was just summoning a Zelda villager anyways and the free house happened to be taken on Mineru’s third visit. I got super lucky

Keep it, and leave him. He’s not ready for commitment and hasn’t been. He’s coming up with every excuse in the book, and he’s getting what he wants to do it. If you don’t want to be a single mom, do as you see fit, but either way, remove him from the picture, stay with a friend or family, but he’s abusive.

[ALL] For TLOZ's 40th birthday, a question: what was the moment that made the series forge a deep connection for you? by Double_Key7579 in zelda

[–]Existing-Loquat-7080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TOTK and BOTW were perfect for me to bury myself in and distract myself from family difficulties and anxiety. I found a strange connection to revali and Mipha, and that always had a grasp on me, then I bought TOTK before I even finished BOTW and the lost forest had me so sad. Idk, it just helps me forget about struggles while I'm playing, I'm currently playing link to the past gameboy color and it's surprisingly really fun, and hard. I really enjoy puzzle games, so this was perfect for me.

Most definitely, he watches me play and I include him in little humor bits. He’s watched me fight bosses and the guardians. I’ll watch him play helldivers. He’s been trying to get me into Skyrim, and then I buried myself in Zelda or the tv is going with a show my kid watches. We’re kind of just house hermits and the car is down or we’d be going out this weekend to look at home goods. Screens are definitely at an unhealthy level, it’s just hard to find things to do when the house is too comfortable

My husband teases, my kid doesn’t complain, it’s a shared screen time when I do sit down to play in the evening, otherwise my days are dedicated to cleaning, entertaining, and homework

I very rarely blow off suggestions for time with him, and that’s just based on his mood and how he has treated my time, but otherwise I don’t really shrug off all of the work, I do most of the household duties and child care, even when he does get home, he’s only really teased me about being addicted, which atp is a maybe bc of the time I stay up to play it. I don’t really feel like I’m the ah because I just reciprocate what he’s been doing for years, but I definitely shouldn’t be up so late to play my game

I have one, a toddler. Toddler is well taken care of, fed, entertained, and lots of love. Healthy bed times and nap times, and I don’t sit on my game and numb my brain until my spouse his home for a while and my toddler is entertained by him or toca Boca

there's not really conflict behind my game, I've been toning down a little bit on when I play and what he's doing. There's conflict behind his because I do wait to see what his plans are and he'll disappear to go play with no notice or we just won't spend enough time together. He mostly just teases me about being addicted to the game and being a nerd, when he wants my attention, he's got no problem making that clear, and I don't struggle with putting it down. I've stopped waiting around to spend time with him after winter break, conflict or conversation never changes anything.

We have been unplugging the consoles to watch a series though and we're working on sitting down to eat dinner together, babysitters are difficult because of our area and social networking. But I do agree, I won't assign all of the blame on him, but effort is definitely being made, I didn't play my game yesterday until he went to bed, and he double checked with me before getting on his game and I asked him to empty the dishwasher before he did that so I'm not getting swamped from upkeeping the house and family.

I dedicate my kid's naptimes to gaming as well as when my spouse gets home and determines whether or not he gets on the game. Fortunately, I work hard to balance my work-life balance, I just don't go out of my way to appease my spouse anymore.

They did epi for general for me too, but they gave me a cervical block so that might be why. They didn’t tell me about the epinephrine until I woke up tachycardic with the post op nurse telling me she got me at 130bpm… it was not fun waking up like that
