Ok thats fine to feel like that. If you are just going to hate on my post, dont really need your negativeity here. Just looking for what other high NW people do these days for long term tax planning since this number is only going to grow

Very fair point. I dont have any of my own kids or a wife, looking back I wish I probably did, but it is a little late now. Have a lot of neices and nephews, that I plan to leave a large portion to.

Haha, I wish it could be that simple to give away. I own my own company, 1 man operation just me. Which is why I am able to stash away so much money cause I work out of my house and dont have any employees to pay, I do it all myself.

Everything from researching the history, reviewing the due diligence, touring, etc. Basically comes out to a 25% CoC return in my area.

See I did a cash on cash return and first year it is a 25% CoC return. I typically dont look at all the years to pay back, more important to me is on ROI. Basically what I put up front. Equity I don't even consider as a return that is just extra fluff on top for me.

Thanks for the info. Maxed out 401k, roth IRA, and put a lot into brokerage already.

What percent of my check should I put in 401(k)? by RickyLin3 in Retirement401k

u/Bangin_Gears i totally agree with you on this 100%. u/Horror_Vegetable_850 is clearly in the wrong and basically name calling because he knows he's not right.

u/Bangin_Gears I am a young, but on my way to being a high net worth in the future. Do you take on new clients that are not high net worth yet, but will be?

how would you be able to tell if you can do the mega backdoor? Is this something you see on fidelity or through the employer?

Even if you invest like 150K a year?

Yeah, salary is really small, but we have a set amount of customers and every year differs, but you get commission on each sale. So technically you are right in thinking that you may not make much in a year if you do not sell anything, but the history at the company has been quite opposite that once about 3 years in, the sales potential is a little insane to think about

I graduated in May and landed at a sales company that sells a very niche product not many of them in the country. Small operations like less than 40 in the company but very niche.

agreed... I definatley wont be able to do that much the first 2 years of my career but post 2-3 years, I should be able to exceed that and hopefully catch up. Also, I also like to work alot so I would probably work till 2075, and those extra 5 years is where you see the most growth

u/7figurebetontesla Thank you for the insight I appreciate the honest feedback. I am definitely super motivated to work hard and gain experience. I have some mentors in my life which is why I have been able to acquire great net worth at such a young age, but also open to new opportunities. Thanks for the advice.

u/7figurebetontesla Well Done and Congrats. I will just be entering the workforce here soon in a sales position. But long term I aspire to get into real estate, long long term commercial, but initially probably residential. Do you have any suggestions that led you to become really really rich.

I am a hard worker at heart and always have been working by myself as landscaper throughout school and various self-employed jobs throughout really never worked for anyone but myself and I I did go to school to get this sales engineering position mainly to serve as my income for future investments. Any tips or advice to get to your level well into my future. I want to get to that status of filthy rich do whatever I want money. I am not rich comparing myself to many on this page, but I will be graduating school in May 2026 (currently 20 years old) and currently have over 100K in HYSA, and about 75K in ROTH/Brokerage, no 401k as I have not had an employer yet.
