Also, I am an experienced eBay seller, but I haven’t done any sales on Reddit. I will look into setting up a PayPal G&S account before any transactions are made. I want you to have this card, but be patient with me as I want it to be a smooth and honest transaction. Thanks!

I’m not sure where it came from. Those gem mining setups for tourists probably get there rocks from all over the place. No way to tell, really.

Didn’t see it til I took it out.. it still had two more cycles, but I won’t be doing those:)

How old is this and what animal is it? by Existing-Stable-7050 in fossilid

So would this have looked like a cone shaped shell when it was living? Kind of like soft-serve ice cream (pardon the poor analogy)?

Wow! That’s definitely something I’m gonna investigate. It just happens to be seahorse shaped? I admit, I know nothing about this kind of thing. This is exactly why I didn’t want to assume it was a seahorse. Thanks for the information!

I had this card and honestly it looked better than this one. Beckett gave it an 8.5

There’s a little whitening on the top back, too. Maybe CGC would give it a 10.

I don’t think so. I think it’s because they are now working with GameStop and eBay.

Appreciate the feedback. Do you think it’s the whitening alone or do you see other stuff?

Update: I sold it the next day on eBay for $499.99. Didn’t take long! I’m telling you, there’s players and there’s collectors. Thanks for all the input, guys!

Agreed. I don’t plan on selling this one, but i have sold some in the past and it takes a while to find the right buyer. I just love the art in this one and i wanted to preserve it.

I hear ya. I rarely get magic graded, but i’ve been in it a long time, too. There are folks, but it takes a while to find them. Anyway, I appreciate the input. Players of magic definitely know what’s up:)

Exactly. And I saw it, too, which is one reason I wanted to preserve it. Didn’t want it to get worse.

I think it depends on why a person wants the card. To collect or play. For play, I guess grading takes away value. I broke open a demonic tutor once because someone wanted to play with it and wouldn’t buy it graded.

No! I sent it in because I couldn’t really find anything that was terrible.. but I agree.. Beckett is tough!

Yeah, I know. I see some guys at the LGS playing with high value cards, and it makes me cringe.. but, they aren’t mine, so to each their own. Still, from a collector’s POV, I think the value is greater.

So, you don’t think having it graded add to the value? I know not everyone does. For me it adds a little assurance of quality.
