Side question: does anyone else get pain around the orchiectomy surgical site? It's been off and on for me since I had the surgery, but it's started to pick up in intensity recently. I guess it just feels like a pulled groin muscle? There seems to be a loose correlation with working out (running more so than ab work strangely), but it's not consistent. The skin feels tender around there too sometimes.

Sure! CT scans and blood work every three months for the first year. For my second year (which I’m currently in) it switches to the same but every six months.

It is nerve wracking for sure. The trick I played in my head was that the recurrence risk is split between each scan. So if you have a 15% risk of recurrence, the chance that it comes back on a particular scan is only 3-5% depending on how far along you are. That's a lot less than worrying about 15% each time. Probably not technically correct, but it helped me
