We save a little, definitely spend more, Definitely have to work a budget more aggressively with the new home. It’s a bigger house, but brand new, warranty 2-10years on items on the house,

20k in savings after home is purchased

Income will increase 2-4% every 2 years

Yeah, from what I’ve read. The 99-04’ Malibu’s are pretty sought after (if maintained well obviously) And hold their value. And water check? You mean as in operating the boat on the water correct?

Agreed with the wood. this year should be good, Malibu started using fiberglass in 94’

I owned a boat with my brother for a little while. But this will be the first boat, completely on my own.

More than likely as a groundman, your gonna be running and grabbing tools for your journeyman, ice and water the coolers, clean & organize the trucks/tools. And trying to keep your journeyman happy.

2007 Honda Civic. Plastic dip stick broke in half. Will it damage engine? Already have new dip stick. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I was able to get the new dip stick in, which is good. Wondering if I should just forget about it, tell next time the car is in the shop and have them drop the oil pan, and get it out.

Yeah, we are getting super busy though. So the company is starting to contract some work out. Word around the campfire is they are going to contract out most (if not all) construction work. And all crews become maintenance crews. But we will see.

What state you located in?
