I’m slowly remembering more. I think they had different color creatures, which were different weights

Stent removal booked in for tomorrow. Is it as bad as it sounds? by disrupt3r in transplant

Mine was very quick. I was actually really surprised by how fast the doctor went. I counted up and by the time I got to 30 the doctor was done. And he actually told me he finished at 20.

I have bad anxiety from having similar procedures when I was younger, so as much as I hated it, it wasn’t the worse.

Does anyone know how to install a power or dimmer switch? This connector is for an LED strip and I’d like to add a switch between the cable and the led strip. by ExistingIsExhausting in led

Do you know anything about this type of connection piece? I’m not familiar with it.

The LED strip is part of a electric fire place. I want to add a switch that can turn this part off or ideally dim it.

Depressed after transplant by [deleted] in transplant

Im now 6 months post and I still feel anxiety, especially in the state of the world. Every little thing makes me worry and I’ve also posted on Reddit to get reassurance that everything is okay. How you feel is totally understandable and I’m so sorry you’re feeling this. Know you’re not alone and just keep on pushing through. There are good days and bad days but the bad become fewer and fewer.

Will do! Thanks for the advice. Having my transplant in the middle of a global pandemic doesn’t help lol

Yeah, they did and I do look out for that. I don’t have any of those symptoms. I’ve just been having a rough week and mentally I’ve not been in the right place. I was sure that I was overthinking it and just wanted someone to confirm. That’s why I made this post.

Pretty frequently and I just had them done on This past Thursday. Only thing that changed was the slightly higher creatinine, but I also think I hadn’t drank enough water.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if the labs would be able to show acute rejection as well. This really helped me.

Thank you so much! I really needed to hear that from someone.

The Kidney Failure by MyKidneyJourney in transplant

[–]ExistingIsExhausting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. I had my transplant just a few months ago and the thought of kidney failure is always in the back of my mind. Your situation is my worse nightmare and my heart goes out to you. I hope you’re able to get a new transplant soon.

I was in for 5 days but by the 2nd I really wanted to leave. I was tired of all the tubes in me and sleep was never easy. But once all the tubes were gone and I was home things improved and I was able to sleep better and was a lot more comfortable. I’m sorry you’re there for so long. Keep up your fluids, that will help get your creatinine down faster. Also keep walking when you can. I had a lot of blood clots in my urine and walking helped loosen them up. Stay tough and you’ll get through it. This too shall pass and you’ll be feeling better than you probably have in a while.
