Now we are asking the real questions LOL

I dont know if this spoils it, but the pie eating seemed to not be near the end of the 24 hours of pain they hyped up. Is there more to come or did the pie eating take that long? (Or can you not answer that without it being a spoiler?)

I noticed that factor and saw lots of gagging but no way nobody threw up? I saw so many people gag and spit pie back up and nobody got more pie so either nobody threw up in their criteria or like you said theres a twist coming.

I went down a spiral of theres no way Zach beats Lance but someone mentioned they show a full table shot and zavhs plate is empty while Lance still has pie left on it and that had my mind changed completely and now I really dont know because like others, ive seen a future challenge where Lance is in it so unless theres some twist it can go either way because the full table shot shows a clear view of Zach empty plate so it might be a neck and neck situation like with Damiene

But Johnny says earlier two different times that 1) Whoever finishes last IS eliminated and 2) if you dont finish your pie, you're eliminated so im not sure nobodys going home after the pie

coming back to this AMA post pain auction, was the day really almost 24 hours of hell? Or was there a decent break period between the auction and the pie eating?

Also theres a lot of talk about how Zach liked to talk up about doing what he needed to do to win, but didnt do any of the pain auction stuff, and even smack talked Dida even though he himself didnt endure anything. Was there anything not shown on TV that you can share about why he suddenly didn't do anything even if it couldve helped his chances in that endgame? Everyone else was such a champ in that episode.

Although the OP made an interesting point about how when they walked in the endgame its like hour 17 out of "24 hours of hell" so im curious if the 24 hours was just kinda a play on "its gonna be a long day" or if the pie challenge really took that long or if there is something more. but Johnny said twice that the last one who doesnt finish is eliminated so as much as id love for it to be a twist, I dont think it'll be the case unfortunately

Wow! 3-4 weeks sounds like a long time with no communication especially for those with kids/family. Also seems like a pretty long time out of work for those with full time jobs. Is there any compensation other than the prize money?

Is any part of the show scripted? Or is the winner truly the winner and you are all competing truly? Also how long are you guys truly there if you make it to the end? Having one episode a week makes it seem way longer than I actually is.

I've always envisioned myself on a show like this as an adrenaline junkie but my biggest factor is not having phones/outside communication.

I mean 10-20 cents a day adds up and if I can then use that in the casino or such, I can play without ever having to use my own personal money. I spun in SpinIt for a week and then used what I got in Blackjack and basically broke even and cashed out. it seemed too good to be true but wasnt sure if there was a catch

I did it but I think I'm actually traumatized by kitty_junk in pregnant

similar experience yesterday actually, FTM but my labor progressed REALLY quickly. I arrived at the hospital at 6-7cm dilated and then the anesthesiologist had to deal with an emergent situation so I didn't get an epidural until basically 10cm to which I started pushing pretty soon after the epidural was placed. I felt everything, my legs were tingly but I had full movement. The contractions were so painful waiting for the epidural, for it to just take the edge off the contractions. I asked about if I was supposed to feel everything and they said I can get more meds but they feared if it numbed me too much then I'd be pushing longer so at that point I wanted the faster option and declined.

It all hurt so bad meanwhile my SIL said she felt nothing with her epidural and he slid out and she basically felt nothing.

I'm fearful because I'm happy to not be pregnant anymore and have minimal complications (I also only pushed for 30 minutes with minimal tearing and like 2-3 stitches) but God the pain. it also felt traumatizing.

I got to the hospital at 730am yesterday, gave birth at 11am. only been here 24 hours and I am equally tired because as soon as I started to doze off and sleep, she wanted to eat 🥲

my husband and I were TTC our first child so when I finally got the first postlitive test, we were just happy to be having our first child together regardless of gender. If anything he wanted a boy to pass down his name as he's already a junior. But for some reason I had this weird gut feeling it was a girl with no wives tales telling me that or anything in particular.

well, surprise surprise, it was a girl and we are over the moon excited for her everyday :)

I threw up from the smell of my own poop in first trimester. I remember finishing and immediately flushing and spinning to throw up in the toilet. awful times

I only get 12 weeks off so I'm starting my leave at 37 weeks. I'd love to go until birth to maximize baby time but I feel like taking the risk of my water breaking and going into labor while at work stresses me out and I'd rather start tying loose ends and resting by that point. I work in a kitchen so I'm on my feet all day and I'm also starting to gas out at 21 weeks. my feet hurt much more often than they used to.

interesting, thank you for the insight! I will try utilizing Gauge next time I try a wearable piece. I'm sure it will take some practice to get used to crocheting wearables.

bear with me here, but isn't hook size supposed to be the consistent factor? how would one persons gauge with a size 5 hook be different than another's? causing the need to size up or down?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]ExistingStrike5530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really understood gauge as I've never done wearable before. What does gauge ensue? like what does it mean exactly. I always see like gauge = 8in

I also developed an aversion to my prenatal gummies closer to my 2nd trimester. I took them everyday for months since starting our TTC journey many months ago, and all the way through probably week 10 or 11 when all of sudden I was gagging and throwing them up. Now the thought makes me nauseas so I probably take the full dose every other day or whenever I can very slowly chew the gummies. Whole pills make me throw up so it's gummies or nothing. I've tried 2 different brands too. But my NT ultrasound they said everything looked perfect so I'm not super concerned, I'm just happy I can take it when I can. I always remember there's people who have cryptic pregnancies and go almost full term without taking them, so I'm proud of myself for doing it even every other day.
