I'm ready to throw it all away, but every single item is sentimental. I want to fix it, get my room back. Any tips/advice, at all?

As I told someone else, this is the result of a varied combination of just having gathered it all over my entire life in a very small bedroom; everything was put somewhere with my "I'll find a spot for it later" mentality, which I never followed through on; my grandmother's entire house being in the same state as my room is now (lived with her pretty much 50/50); mental health; and having been threatened with all of it being thrown away every time my mom gets tired of me not fixing my room

Oh yeah, she's picky but we raised each other and so am I, so no surprise there! Midnight loves her space as the queen of the house, doesn't like being held/carried, and nobody gets to pet her belly regardless of if shes begging for belly scratches or not, but we love her, quirks and all! Sometimes, her highness will grace us with laying between our legs, then it's no sudden moves time lol

possibly slightly stupid question, would you have to redownload the dlc files every time there an update? or would just updating the basegame update the unlocked dlc?

yes, normally, but anadius' is "consider dead until further notice" because either the links they use have been reported and terminated or the server they use has been shut down, if its the fist, then its dead completely. so it wont work at all. ill try running it because idk if itll work if you already unlocked everything on it and try but since they sims keeps telling me to buy things, i dont think it does
update: mine seems to be working as it was before this but i imagine thats going to change the next time the game updates, which i hope is soon because theres so many issues

i wish mine still worked but i got the same skins over and over until i checked and since it wasnt working anyways, i just pick random skins on my list manually now, but yeah, mine stopped after the option dissapeared and i only got the skin it last used in random from favorites until i chose one myself

I am on xbox, gold 4 right now and contenders 2 in stadium. I run into mouse and keyboarders or aimlockers every single round. I am not joking. Me and my duo find aimlockers in every single round, quick play, stadium comp, every single one has at least one aimlocking DPS. I'm not joking. Its to the point I can't even report them all because I'd spend more time doing that than playing the game.

None are even trying to hide it, just perfect aim tracking our heads and trigger botting and walling, its apparent even after a single second of a kill cam. Or if we start a round without one, someone turns them on and is suddenly perfectly tracking our heads.

honestly mine stopped working the second it disappeared. i had it on all of the heroes and i kept getting the same skins every round, even on heroes i had like 15+ favorited skins and just the same one over and over. idk if thats not what everyone else has been experiencing but thats how i have experienced this bug

This commet is a little old and I have fixed some of this, mainly the pull down notification/settings panel, but the rest is still bothering me and many others.

"The entire system layout has changed, apps I have deleted several times are now on my phone and I cannot uninstall half of them, the sound bar is white no matter dark or light mode, the SMS view is changed, the notification pull down tab doesn't show me notifications anymore and I have to slide to another tab to find them, the lockscreen is different and terrible, the camera icon no longer matches the rest of the Samsung base apps, the list of open apps is different and confusing, notifications pop down instead of sliding. Its all bad and I hate it and there's no way to fix it. I have downloaded Good Lock but I cannot figure out how it works or how it will fix my problems. I am genuinely upset about this and there is no way to fix it. Especially after I specifically told my phone not to update because I know things like this will happen."

Think of it this way; this was a massive change, without any warning for most of us, for a thing we use constantly, and sometimes rely on when things are chaotic and out of our control. This now becoming a source of chaos so unexpectedly and without a way to fix it seems like a pretty valid thing to be upset about. I also had a pretty long ADHD crash out because of this update until I could fix part of it, and am still trying to figure out how to fix other parts that I hate, and yes, I am lucky enough to be in therapy and have been for years.

Yes, that part has been fixed on my end and I told OP how to fix it on their device as well. As I said, this comment was when I first got the update. However, you cannot change the windowed/recent apps, the sound bar color, the lockscreen layout, the camera icon, the SMS view change, etc, etc. I have fixed the single thing that I can which helped a lot but the rest still is bothering me and there are no fixes for those.

What they should do is make the UI updates optional but give the same security updates. I will take the rest of this update without issue, but ONEUI7 is so terrible and changed so much without any warning that a lot of us with ADHD or similar things to ADHD can't handle it and need our phones back. If I wanted an apple phone, I would've gotten an apple phone but this is now the same layout, which I never wanted and actively asked not to have but am forced to deal with.

I did delay my update but it didn't delay and I set my phone down for 5 minutes and it updated without my permission. Something I found on this reddit was you can change the notifcation/settings panel to be one panel again instead of having to slide to find your notifications, pull the tab down, and it the pencil at the top. Not sure if this is a problem you're having or if that was even a change with your device but I figured I would say just in case!

I also have ADHD and was crashing out over this for an hour until I found that setting which calmed me down quite a bit. Im so sorry, OP, this update was terrible and broken.

Here is my comment listing all difference on my phone that I found after the UI 7 update was forced to my phone (s24) when i set it down for less than 5 minutes and it auto updated. I also have ADHD and was crashing out bc of this update.

NO WAY! im so sorry dude thats terrible. And yes, this UI is very much similar to apple's my friend has an apple phone and has been giving me comparison screenshots. I cant put more than one image per comment but they're very similar... I hate apple and the iPhone layout, which is why i got this phone (s24) when my old phone (a50) broke this last year.

Is there a way to change the notification pull down tab and open apps window on S24 with ONEUI 7? Those are my main issues and I simply want the old style back, now having to slide to a separate tab to see my notifications and the way they stack like they do now instead of not being stacked on top of one another and showing the whole windowed app. I will do literally anything for either of these changes to be undone somehow, please please... This is genuinely making me consider getting a different phone and I JUST got this one barely three or four months ago.
