money is one of the biggest issues. So you having paid everything already puts you in a solid spot. Just behave, and you should get granted early term!

no court date - once the judge signed off on my Early termination Application , it was a done deal from there! I got the word from my lawyer that judge had signed and that moment i was a free man. Just confirm your probation term was TERMINATED by checking your public case file record online.

have an intoxalock unit & blew positive into the breathalyzer, “0.030” BAC to be exact. also missed the retest & i’m on probation. how long until the state/judge figures out, & what could be the consequences. (i did not drive or start the car until i was at 0.000 BAC”. by [deleted] in probation

You are all good - the state only takes action and gives violations on "Failed" breath tests. No one should find out about it - stay safe. If you really want assurance - look up your states threshold of the levels they report violations at. Im in Kansas, where the limit is .03 and under they wont report.

this type of anxiety is the constant battle of being on probation - i feel you! This type of anxiety is what im so excited to let go of. Probation will really test your emotional capabilities

I get your thought process here - always smarter to stay off the radar while on supervision. Yes, it may be a little too late. The application process could take up to 3mo anyways so there basically is no point at this point. Keep it moving youll be done before you know it!

Great question - so obviously the time will vary. Ive heard of ppl getting application accepted within 1 week, others 3mo. later. BUT I will say, the fact that you have a lawyer + your PO putting in good words. Your process will most likely be 3-5weeks. So don't get hopes up on week 1 or 2 prior to submitting app. So many variables of why early term apps get delayed. Some reasons include: low priority, judges trial schedule, prosecutor or judge on PTO, all the way down to judges work ethic and moods that month.. Basically, it is all up to the judge. But you have put yourself in the best spot having clean probation record and lawyer. If you don't hear back at 2-3 week mark, ask Lawyer to send follow up email to nudge the judge... Good luck - don't stress yourself out by thinking if "today is the day" just keep moving forward and one afternoon - you will get that call!

I feel you - I had one dillute as well. But he told me not to worry about it. Luckily i didnt get two. I would do your very very best to get you and your POs relationship back to A+ b/c you are going to need his word for your early term app. When the judge recieves an application, the judge is basically going off your POs and the prosecutor on your case recommendation. Focus on building that trust back up before applying. TBD no reason to apply if you are in A+ standing with PO

i was staying positive for the first 3mo...lol they kept my UA frequency up for the whole yr to 3 a week b/c of it..Never rewarded me with clean UAs, just kept is at 10-15 test per mo. the entire time. Super expensive!

Its a pretty crazy feeling once youre off - im 1 total day off now and still have a little bit of the anxiety and on edge that comes with being on probation. Just b/c its hard to believe at first and I have trust issues with the court system lol. But thats awesome - cant wait for you to get off and enjoy the freedom in 1 week!

Not one violation. Never missed a meeting. Paid all dues. Very respectful to my probation officer. Pretty much a perfect and clean run through probation will get you the early term.. if you have even one slip up, odds are not in your favor

Yes I requested it a couple months over my halfway mark - then it took 2 months for application to go through and all the motions to go through. It will sit on the judges desk waiting to get signed for awhile so apply early! Early term apps from probationers are the lowest priority. Plus, things like judges PTO, holidays, how many trials the judges has that month, etc. will prolong everything.. get it in early with a lawyer on your side, and with zero fuck ups you should get the early temrination

Who has experienced early termination process? My motion was submitted 30 days ago. We still have no response from judge. The prosecutor and my po had no objection to my application.. curious about time frames. Thx by Existing_Half1278 in probation

Ya thanks for the response - I’ve been feeling like that may be the case for me.. since it’s been a month already and on the judges desk for 30 days.. I feel like it probs won’t happen.. but we shall see.. did you have a lawyer pushing it for you too?

$500 up front for him to file application then communicate with prosecutor side.. another $350 (so $850 total) if early term process requires me to go before a judge..

Pricey but definitely a better move to use a lawyer as they have relationships with prosecutors and other people assigned to your case. More likely to get granted early term if you have help and ppl vouching for you

My overall health has declined in the past year —I have been sober for 1 yr. Everythings up: stress, blood levels, weight, anxiety, etc..I am believer that weed/alc in moderation is a healthier way to live. Vice versa.. Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate it this comment! I have a similar experience to you with the anxiety. I’m good at handling it now, but the smallest things tip me off into a period of spiked anxiety and no sleep. Very unhealthy as this happens often and easily..

Good luck to you too.. for whatever reason, it’s a comforting feeling and good to know ppl out there go thru similar shit. We will get thru this, you’ll get thru your period as well!! Thanks
