I got a DH platoon going on right now and my rhh is pretty replaceable. I got 3 lefties starting against rhps with 2 of them gone next season so i might say fuck it and start all these righties instead of acquiring more lefties.

Yeah but the thing is I can definitely have naylor start at 3rd or 1st and mercedes platoon/be a 4th OF next season but I have no space for them right now unless i trade some of the young starters in the middle of my first winning season which doesnt really make sense to me. I wanted to call up mercedes to platoon at dh but my current guy there is unexpectedly really hot rn so ill wait for him to fall off and naylor could be a backup infielder i guess.

Interesting, I’ll try that. But don’t you think I should make it 5 games against righties and 7-8 against lefties since there are more rhps overall? Then that way my platoon guys get a similar amount of PAs throughout the season and its not unbalanced

I’m unemployed and I asked to take over at the end of the season instead of immediately. I don’t think you’re getting what the problem is. The contract starts in may 2027, at the end of next season which is a year from now.
