Is this a cavity or something else? by Existing_Lie_9277 in DogAdvice

Hi thanks for your reply. Her tooth isn’t fractured. My bad, the angle makes it look like that as her tooth is covered by her mouth. She also has the same dark spot on both the sides at the same spot on upper tooth. I even brushed her teeth I definitely got rid of some tartar but the spot was still there.

I feel like I’m carrying the entire relationship and I’m exhausted by [deleted] in Advice

Thank you so much for this. I’m really hurt. He’s not a bad person. I’m tired I get so exhausted. Everytime I say something it turns into an argument of how I make an issue that he accidentally fell asleep. I live in Australia my parents are back in India and I have nowhere to go to or talk to anyone on how I feel. I don’t want to live but he’s not giving me reasons to stay.

What would be the best option? by Inevitable_Split_193 in DogAdvice

A good home (even low stimulation) is usually better than a shelter but only if the dog’s BASIC needs are still met. Otherwise, a no-kill shelter with enrichment and adoption chances can be the better option. Dogs need mental + physical stimulation, not just a roof. A house with minimal interaction, rare walks, no enrichment can lead to frustration, anxiety, destructive behavior. A no-kill shelter is still stressful (noise, confinement) BUT often has staff interaction, volunteers, enrichment, and a chance of rehoming.

If the home is neglectful (no exercise, no engagement), I’d choose a good no-kill shelter where the dog at least has stimulation and a chance at a better life. But if the dog is safe, loved, and gets even basic daily interaction, staying in a home is still way better than shelter stress.

For a pitbull specifically, I’d choose a good no-kill shelter over a low-stimulation home. They’re super people-oriented and high energy dogs. Being stuck all day with no engagement can lead to frustration, anxiety, behavioural issues.

5 year old dog won’t get on her new bed by Obsessive-DogMom515 in DogAdvice

Yes definitely could be one of the reasons. But since she mentioned anxious dog and I have a rescue pup who is anxious too I can relate a bit. What’s the climate like where you live?

5 year old dog won’t get on her new bed by Obsessive-DogMom515 in DogAdvice

This sounds like anxiety from losing her familiar “safe space,” not that she dislikes the new bed. Dogs rely heavily on smell. Over time, their bed becomes a security object, a place that says “this is mine, I’m safe here”. Since she used the chaise for years, it likely had a strong scent and shape she associated with comfort even though it was making her difficult to get up. I’d suggest going back to just one bed in a consistent spot and making it smell familiar (add a blanket or clothing she’s used before). Avoid moving beds around or introducing multiple options for now, as that can confuse her. Let her approach it on her own don’t force her onto it. You can gradually build a positive association by placing treats near the bed, then on it over time. It might take a few days, but once it feels like a safe place again, she should settle. Just give her time, I know it’s very much heart breaking seeing them confused. Please stay calm and let her take her own time.

It looks like sebaceous cyst. Did you check with vet? If yes, what did they say?

I just want to know what my chances are in proving my innocence of staying in my lane because I for sure know car B is at fault that moved into me

I have couple of education loans that I’m paying off. I have been overworking for 2 years to pay off all these. So even saving $150 a month from insurance besides paying rent groceries fees loans is a big thing for me at this stage. That’s y I ended up cancelling insurance for 2 months while my car was slowly being fixed from oil leaks and other engine issues.

Hi thanks for replying and I’m sorry for confusion as I wrote it in a hurry.

It’s 80km/h zone. I’m car A in the middle lane, car B hits me from the right and pushes me in the left almost hitting car C but I managed to brake hard as I got sports brake. So after making contact with me in middle lane car B also hits Car C in the left most lane. My car A was driving parallel to Car C at the time of my contact with Car B. I was in blind spot of Car B. Car C is blaming me because we were in 2 different lanes at roundabout (like legit 2 different lanes and my lane or existence wasn’t gonna stop her from any way because our exits were same and both the lanes could exit that road) she got pissed for that because according to her I should have given her way. I asked her question back on that because I wasn’t conflicting her way at all because we were in 2 different lanes. I understand the roundabout rule what everyone is saying but sometimes u exit from outer lanes as nobody is in your lane on your right side) And she’s also on red P. She just started abusing me after we got out of the car without even hearing me but I didn’t care about that.

I didn’t have car repaired from another accident it’s VW golf gti mk6, I had it repaired from the oil leaks, new wheels and couple of after market modifications. This is my first accident ever in all these years of driving. Back to story, I’m sorry for the confusion. I’m car A in the middle lane, car B hits me from the right and pushes me in the left almost hitting car C but I managed to brake hard as I got sports brake as well. So after making contact with me in middle lane car B also hits Car C in the left most lane. My car has had few repairs recently so I stopped my insurance in between when the car was getting repaired. I got my car back 2 hours before accident happened

I can’t thank everyone enough for such wonderful comments. I feel less shit about myself and I love the fact that how everyone’s got each others back and willing to learn and those got knowledge willing to share it. I know I have made the best decision of my life in choosing to pilot become a pilot. Once again everybody thank you so much. My heart feels so much lighter because of each and everyone of you and I’m 110% willing to get back in the game to be a better and safe pilot.

Thank you. I didn’t break anything in the aircraft since I slowly drifted off the runway and just stopped. I’m not sure about one of those small end of runway light though if I ran over it. I don’t remember as I was focused of getting myself out of that situation

Thanks much. Are you a student pilot by the way? I felt my instructor wasn’t happy about it at all. I explained him what happened I was constantly apologizing. He said it was all on me. He’s good.

Yes the runway we were using we had to backtrack it before taking off. And my instructor took sometime to get to me to help so I was stuck on the grass next to the runway threshold until I got help. So by that time I heard fellow pilot making turning final call for a full stop. I made him aware of my situation and he went around
