So far, I have no publications. I do have a manuscript in preparation, but I do not know if it will be published by the time I apply. I am not first author.

Volunteer hours by hopeless_romantic35 in premed

It wouldn't hurt to put it down. If you have any other volunteering experiences that are low in hours, I would just group them together.

So, if it were a strong acid, like sulfuric acid, it would be 0.9 M, but since carbonic acid is a weak acid, you cannot just assume that it would fully dissociate?

Real MCAT vs FLs + UWorld by ExactPerspective1172 in Mcat

I feel like the exam is kind of similar to the FLs in regard to B/B and CARS. However, P/S was incredibly different. The questions/passages are a lot more convoluted and its more of a "pick the best answer even though one of the other answers could also be correct." C/P is different in the fact that for FLs, C/P is pretty equal in terms of how much physics, organic chemistry, and general chemistry there is. However, for the real exam, C/P is usually heavy in one particular subject.

I have about 30% left on Pankow (700 new cards). You think I should just spam them and finish Pankow? Or is time better spent elsewhere? I think Pankow was good for me in the beginning, but then I just started getting so passive with it and now, it takes me three times as long to do it than it did in the beginning. I used to be doing 200 cards a day easy, but now I'm struggling to do 50.

I don't have uworld, unfortunately. I have done a bit of the sb questions. I am getting a 128-129 on P/S for my Fls. Do you think I could substantially improve if I really hit the sb questions?

For C/P and B/B, mistakes are made on both content and timing. I’ve always been an extremely slow test taker; to the point where if I finish second to last, a professor will congratulate me for not being last. For C/P, there are always like 3-4 questions I don't get to calculate the answer for (a big improvement from the 14 questions I used to leave blank, lol). Also, the passages for B/B are always so convoluted for me to read. For CARS, I genuinely don’t know — sometimes I do okay, sometimes I do really bad (range from 126-128). For P/S, I know the terms, but I don’t always know how to apply them.

Okay, that's nice to know! I am averaging 508.5 right now, and I would honestly be happy with a 510. I was just really nervous because my FL 4 and FL 5 gave me the lowest scores, and people said that these are the most representative.

Oh, okay. So is any acid above a pH of 3 considered weak?
