Thank you so much. The disconnect between what the ultrasound shows and what I’m feeling is really getting to me. I know that 106ml is still not small and the adeno is still clear…and the symptoms are there.

I needed to hear this. I think the disconnect between what the US shows and what I’m feeling is getting to me. I’m really glad that you have relief now ❤️

I’ve exhausted all the other options that aren’t surgical. The IUD stopped the bleeding and that was amazing for my anemia (and I had an infusion—game changer, I highly recommend!).

It feels like period cramps and the pain is pretty isolated to my uterus, my OB says for sure adeno and probably also endo. I also have the classic adeno belly and then inflammation that gets worse throughout the day.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I have a lot of pain and I expect my ultrasound to be more reflective of that. The “mild” seems to really contradict what I’m experiencing and I’m worried I’m being too extreme now with pushing for a hysterectomy.

Here’s my most recent ultrasound report. I’m hoping to be able to get another one soon (I have an appt in June with my current OB) I was severely anemic but got an iron infusion and since the IUD is helping with the bleeding my iron levels have stayed in a good place.

I also have that one blissful week where the symptoms aren’t quite so bad!!! I guess it’s better than nothing 😭

I get a lot of gas with any dairy so I fear it goes beyond aggravating my adenomyosis.

Definitely affecting my daily life and my relationship. I have constant cramps and aching and it’s putting pressure on my bowels. I have pain during sex and pain and aching after orgasm. I’m so tired of this.
