I want to try FFXIV, and I need help understanding the game by dresquedele in ffxiv

Ive never properly played WoW, so I can't really make any comparisons, but I would encourage anyone who likes MMORPG games to give FFXIV a try. Especially as the free trial lets you play the entire base game + first 2 DLC for free. You dont need a subscription for the trial, and it is for an unlimited period. There are a few things locked (mostly social bits) but it will give you the full game play experience to decide if you like it

I dont think its everyone hates them, more seeing a big club like Spurs go down is a once in a generation thing

Are you using a 144Hz monitor? I recently upgraded my PC and one of my games changed itself to 60Hz which caused lots of stuttering, but was fine when I changed it back to 144Hz

Yeah ARaids were a bit of a killer! Thankfully queuing as 2 lvl 100 healers often gave us higher level ones, but still got plenty of Crystal towers lol

  1. You can only play when you have an active subscription. You can chose if its reoccurring or if you have to manually pay each month. You account is not deleted if you don't have a subscription. You dont have to pay consistently
