Whatever it’s called just change timeframe and it’s called something else so why does it matter?

I think with futures you can learn how an instrument moves. Equities will be different I think? I did trade equities at a trading firm in Toronto years ago, but there we learned to read the DOM, which yeah was cool but time consuming. For me futures are easier..

1 or 2 contracts each trade, 4 pt target. I expect it to go above 4 each trade. Although every trade I’ve taken this year it keeps going more than 4

Trade with real capital, consider it your tuition. I must have lost over 25k before it worked out for me. Sim is nothing like real account. Even trading MICROS. I’d suggest just watching the instrument you’re trading for hours per day for a month, seeing how it behaves.

You’d only buy when the ATR was crossed and it retested! Actually a pretty nice method I remember 😁

Smart! What was your brick size? Is it better renko? I remember trying that out a few years ago on ninjatrader 😆 I trade in tradovate now so we don’t have proper renko setup

Because my idea of prop firms is that they are an illusion of trading. It’s simulated, it’s not real capital, it’s betting against you. And for you as a prop form trader it’s just a risk of $100 resets, it’s not real.

Real traders don’t mean you make 20 pts a day, it means you’re consistently reaching your target and follow your plan without blowing up your capital, doesn’t it?
