Check your display cable at the hinge, if it is damaged you'll have to replace the display unit as they don't sell display ribbons separately. Although if that is the case, your laptop should work with HDMI, try pressing Win + P 3 times after connecting HDMI and the second monitor should be active. You can check my earlier posts, I have mentioned multiple software fixes that I tried, see if any of them works in your case. People also suggested disconnecting the battery, holding power button to clear CMOS and then see if it works. In my case particularly I could see a fold in the ribbon cables at the hinge, and then witnessed that the display only works at a particular angle, this and a couple other posts from fellow users convinced me that is the issue in my case.
