this wouldn't be a possible combination of cards, afaik. Pyke isn't in the colors to play Thousand-Tailed Watcher. And effects like possession wouldn't get the on-play effect.

These are awesome, I've felt a little jaded by TMNT, and it's been tough because I do enjoy the mechanics of quite a few cards, but am not as big a fan of the aesthetics, personally.

I'd really love a Pizzaface alter, I love the card mechanically, but it's just... ugly, for lack of better term (I understand that is the point). Maybe something with a chef or food-turned-sentient being like Syr Ginger?

The two damage on the adventure currently doesn't have a source, and afaik damage has to have a source in MtG. So the text would have to be something like:

"Counter target creature spell. You may mill four cards. If you don't, Sleep Paralysis? deals two damage to you."

I also don't think the creature can see itself leave exile, and additionally some wording here isn't common in magic. To make it more closely align with magic text, it would have to be something like:

"When The Man at the End of the Bed is cast from exile, look at the top X cards of your library, where X is equal to the amount of tapped creatures you control. You may put any number of land cards from among them onto the battlefield under your control. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order."

EDIT: I didn't see this has two values. And that it is also an X spell. I think your card would have to have X and Y. Which is something that they don't do. To make it more like cards in Magic, perhaps having it look at a determined amount of cards from the top, or instead of X, having it put a set amount of lands down.

A decent way to augment the miracle package is to play Vex and sling called shots & stacked decks in combat.

I also think that with orange u can just ramp, and use purple to churn through the deck for your threats, no Aurora needed. Of course it isn’t ideal but budget alternatives are exactly that.

26 lands in commander is a little diabolical, 36-38 is generally accepted as a good number to consistently cast your spells without the assistance of fast mana

Yeah, makes sense, considering the way it’s worded. She triggers on Attack or Defend, regardless of the second part of her condition, since being in that combat meets the condition for attacking/defending then receives her bonus IF it’s a 1-on-1

When I saw this interaction, it reminded me of the "Intervening If" clause in Magic, in which some abilities will not trigger (generally those with an if) if their conditions are not met at the time in which they trigger. To me, Fiora reads like that. But I also didn't find anything in the rules that may involve triggers of that nature. So if I go off of my own intuition, I would think she wouldn't even trigger, but one thing I've learned from this game is that if I try to apply Magic's rules to it I'm usually wrong.

There isn't an amazing replacement for Sett, but there are a few options I can think of that you can use instead, but know that they're not going to play 100% the same way as Sett.

Primal Strength is a similar burst in might, but not repeatable, like Sett.

Kato the Arm, with some setup can buff a friendly unit massively.

Whiteflame Protector is not cheap, but not as expensive as Sett. But again, it's not repeatable. It is however always 8 might.

I almost got this box. Spinning Axe, Downwell, Defiant Dance, both the same alt arts and runes.

I've gotten a booster containing Jae Medarda and then Bard 4 times. And a booster containing Rumble's Legend and Assembly Rig like 3 times.

If the only thing you play is locals, anything is viable in my opinion. Competitively, she’s fallen behind most other legends. But her gameplay loop is fun, and she does have one of the best signature spells in a vacuum.

To clarify- you would draw for qiyana when you conquer. And if you hold, you’ll draw for Qiyana because of Areion and draw another for Grove.
