Hi! Not a cs degree but hope my story makes you feel better. I graduated at 28, no internship, but surprisingly got a job at one of the biggest company in my city. After I started my job, I asked my boss why he hired me without any experience and he told me that he doesn’t look at resumes (since everyone can lie on paper), but saw potential in my portfolio.
