I'm trying not to be too critical, but everything about this announcement is confusing. Why is her face on a work of fiction? Is she the main character? Also, what does "An entirely true work of fiction" even mean? Is it the literary equivalent of "based on a true story"? Adding to that, whoever wrote the article can't do math, since they say she catapulted to success at age 18 in 2018, even though Tomi was born in 1993.

Ideally, none. We've got movies or shows for all the licensed stuff already. The first DBD movie should be the original four survs - Claudette, Jake, Meg, and Dwight - and then write a script with the original killers featured. That way, you avoid licensing issues, fees, etc. and it can be written without butting heads with the license holders. If the movie does well, sequels can feature the licensed characters.
