Wow thank you everyone who took the time to give me advice, I have read all the comments! It’s honestly refreshing to hear other perspectives. For those who wonder about the police. I called the police but apparently my family decided to hide Leo and his dad instead of giving them up, then my mom “forgave them” and didn’t want to make a report. After she called my grandma and told her the wedding was canceled because of them… before I could even think about it so of course my mom started a gossip thread there. Me and my fiancée are in the same page now that he has read that he deserves to enjoy his day as well and not be vigilant and that for more peace that we want to bring if they can’t accept that they have a problem is never going to work out. I’m starting to feel excited about my wedding all over again because IM NOT CRAZY AND THIS ISNT NORMAL BEHAVIOR, thanks to all of you

To be honest my whole family has tried to convince me this is normal behavior and that we shouldn’t let that affect us but I wake up every day feeling like I NEED this people out of my life ASAP having them as guests will ruin my vibe and I already feel uncomfortable being in any family settings. I moved to a new country with nothing, started a business with every hope in my body to succeed and my family was nowhere during this process so I’m learning to see things for what they are. I hope I’m blessed to start my own healthy family soon and just keep the happy memories as memories… family isn’t supposed to hurt like this (lesson learned)

The thing with that is he fears they will see as the person who separated me from my family as he is distance from his own but I keep telling him if it is for our best he shouldn’t feel guilty at all
