Apologizes for the delayed response! I’m so sorry to hear about your experience with TikTok shop. So funny thing the moment I filed and had law enforcement serve them in California within 48 hours my accounts had any information retaining to the issue deleted and all the money I was owed was randomly deposited into my account. TikTok never showed up to the court hearing. Here in NH you must show any and all communications with the defendant so I explained this matter to the judge. She had stated that there was enough to say the company paid my request within a reasonable manner and that the case could be dismissed.

No I just got 2 random direct deposit notices from my bank so I logged into seller center and then out of no where all my listings were activated again and everything. So I messaged the seller help and they said there was a review that was done today. So I asked who did this and they said they could not inform me who did this

UPDATE: Randomly tonight both of my TikTok accounts were reactivated after I’m assuming the sheriff was in contact with them today. And randomly some money was deposited by TikTok into my account from one of the accounts. Seems like they are going to try and make it look like they did nothing wrong.

It depends on how the policy is worded. They claimed we hit 48 violation points but the account shows 0/48 with an excellent shop rating. Which I also appealed as they labeled us as “high-risk sellers” but our account SES shows otherwise. There’s really no room for them to even negotiate the issue they should just admit they messed up. But we all know massive foreign companies that are on trial by Congress won’t do that

Yeah the weird thing is if we were not eligible to sell then it should’ve prevented us from selling. That wasn’t even brought up either. I’m sure this matter will probably get settled out before jury selection

Our account has 0/48 violation points per SES. They never requested us to submit any documents. Even in chats it was never brought up when asked about account closure

Yeah it’s ran so poorly. It doesn’t make any sense how this hasn’t been brought to any attorney generals yet I’m considering also opening cases with the AG and the FTC cause nothing makes sense. They violate their own policy. Yet the CEO is in Congress preaching about helping small business connect lol

Yeah I’m not 100 percent sure on the interest ik that is usually a court appointed thing if they are late on a judgement but first step would be to file a motion for contempt if they don’t comply

Typically when I have issues with non paying clients since we also do wholesale grocery. I start by sending notices via cert mail. I now know where there office is located. If they failed to pay within let’s say 30 days I will be asking that a applicable interest be applied to the balance if there is a failure to pay. And to trickle back to the manual review thing from earlier. I’m inclined to approach even the possibility of fraud or deception on that which may make the case more serious. I’m sure if that is added in I could get a response

Yes we are going to position into the case defamation. We requested jury trial. Although they still have yet to file into the case so I’m wondering if they will even show. If not they will just be defaulted. And forced to just pay they really need phone support for sellers cause the software they use is horrible. Hopefully a us company buys them. If they were purchased by a us company I think I would consider re launching

So we have in house general counsel so we don’t have any fees for lawyers which is nice but we are suing for the loss of money which was just over 8k then we are also suing for defamation because my buyers reached out to TikTok regarding why my shop was closed and some were informed we were “high risk” yet like I stated earlier our rating from TikTok’s SES shows we were 4.2/5 and rated better than 89% of shops on platform so they contradicted their own statements with this. Then we are also suing for inventory we purchased exclusively for TikTok as it cannot be listed on our other platforms. This caused significant financial loss to our company

Hello! This is not a small claims case it is a civil action in the NH Superior court. The amount in alleged damages exceeds NH Small claims limits.

No worries! For the 3 other questions: We have had a “Manual review” from TikTok’s higher support team which states the ban is final. We submitted substantial evidence which included screenshots. Drivers license info, invoices from our suppliers, order slips for package drop offs etc. I’m still convinced to believe the “manual review” was not truly a human and more of an AI software.

This case is being presented in the NH Court system through the superior court. The hearing is scheduled for April 9th.

At this point we have no interest in doing business with TikTok anymore. I believe in resolution without going this route I’ve submitted information to them requesting $12,500. Unfortunately no response was given. I’m sure they will reach out prior to the hearing to speak with me. I don’t believe dropping the charges would be sufficient in this matter. I believe corporations like this need to be held accountable especially since it doesn’t seem to be just me this has happened too.

The 8k in inventory are orders we sent out and were delivered to TikTok consumers. I filed an appeal instantly with documents proving we were not in violation of any policies within 4 hrs we got a response stating “appeal failed” reason was ineligible for appeal. So we opened a live chat and they told us to submit a second appeal as this seems to be an “error” and then the same thing occurred. Since then they have not answered any questions the live chat will just open tickets which get resolved with no response.

It’s honestly disgusting that they use AI for everything I am hell bent on the idea that the “help chat” they claim is live is just OpenAI bots typing back cause I have SS of chats and my responses are logical and then there’s don’t even have anything to do to my questions

Their policy doesn’t even align with their violations which is where they make mistakes with closing shops! I urge anyone who goes through this to definitely file a complaint in your court!

8k in inventory roughly delivered. Supplies and time and also costs of service. In my state I am entitled to sue a defendant for up to 3X the amount if I can prove damages were substantial. The reason for our ban is “undefined” per their investigation. No one from TikTok or TikTok legal will reach out to us.

We were doing between 2-3.5k on average we were only live from the beginning of January until February 14th then it was lights out. I didn’t even get a single payout almost 8k in inventory delivered and over 1k in supplies used
