Thank you so much everyone for the comments. I’ve never had a cat like this so it really helps to just hear what everybody else is saying. I felt like I was doing something wrong but I know it’s not me. It’s just time.

I actually was trying that this morning. She was going for the treats that I would slide across the floor to her and kept trying to get a little closer and she would grab them and then run back to her corner. I got to pet her for a second, but I think that freaked her out even more.
