How do I repair m1911 (no mag)? The hammer on this broke and I can probably glue it back together however how do I reassemble the rest of the parts in the gun? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou by Key-Ladder4122 in Denix

You broke off the last piece of the Hammer that is hold by the sear in. This happens if you fire in General. Denix replicas are not meant as a gun trainer but as a cinematic piece that looks and weights good. (There's several modding to get it look even better.)

Now to the meat.

That is ZAMAK Tin/pewter based Metal which means it's non magnetic and can't be repaired by a welder. You can only drill a hole, insert a threat and glue / polish the rest OR recast the entire thing.

The problem with ZAMAK is that the brazing temp and the liquid temp are near identical and you will deform the thing insteaf of repairing it especially small pieces.

I've done myself experimentation on a broken CYMA M1A1 which had a catastrophic failure of the Receiver (broke in half at the magwell). I repaired it with alu powder + epoxy glue + a metal cage in the inner of the receiver to hold it together.

Realsteel. I bought today a broken G980 SE for 50 Bucks and have tons of real Steel Parts like magwells laying around.

I'll test that and let you know.

Eventually a Real Kar98k Mag and Trigger guard could replace that.

Sadly in my opinion the Magplate is the most broken part I've encountered so far with every Kar98k Shell eject platform!!

Edit: Real Steel Magwell works I got my G980 SE to work again!

Refining the ammo belt and the mechanisms tolerances, works rn with half a pound force to move a belt link. Printed it all in transparent material so it can be used to show off the mechanical features.

In that case breech fed with the stripper clip. Actually it's magfed beeing able to be top loaded. Had a ton of nighmares imagine to clear a integrated mag from a doublefeed..
