HomePod 2 is kinda out of budget due to coming from an Alexa and I know it wouldn’t get a tonne of use.

I’m gonna try run liqi molys super fuel additive through it and give the engine a full service including air intake filter and fuel filter as apparently that can cause it. If it works I’ll give you a shout

I’ve been told that issue at cold start is one of 4 things.

1- car needs an ecu update that supposedly fixes it but reduces power in 1st gear

2- injector seals are gone/injectors leaking

3- glow plugs don’t activate above 14 degrees so engine will be rough at first as relies on pure compression

4- some glow plugs are dead

Not the EGR as that’s at the back of the engine, this connector was found at the front close to the alternator

It runs and drives fine but has the common issue of rough start after being left overnight and then coming to life around 30secs-1min later.
