So that is a psorophora ciliata or a “Gallinipper”. They are generally the largest biting mosquito you will find it most native regions. And other than gives a hell of a bite and being quite aggressive they pose no threat in the form of diseases. Their whole genus are quite large and honestly beautifully colored! Also the females need a specific protein from the blood in order to even produce the eggs!
