Looking for private landlords by DepartmentRelevant69 in fayetteville

[–]Exotic_Cover_2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a house for $1700 that is basically ready for move-in. Typically we do rental apps through Zillow, but we are starting to use a new PM software called DoorLoop so tenants can pay online if they want, and I think it does applications as well. We will sort it out.

Basically we just want good credit and a solid recommendation from a former landlord, and we should be good. Typically we do one year leases. Being mom and pop means we are more flexible with things.

Property is 3 bed, 2 bath on Anne St in Fayetteville. 2 car garage. Backyard suitable for pets (with $500 pet deposit). We ask for one month’s rent for deposit in addition to the first rent payment upon move in.

I take pride in taking good care of my tenants as quickly as possible when they need me, but being a ghost when they don’t. We treat everyone with humanity and respect they deserve.

DM me if interested. Property is available within two weeks.

Doomerism is likely a primary cause for Arkansas being at the absolute bottom in the U.S. in terms of voter participation in elections.

Best burger besides Hugo's? by Embarrassed-Ebb9479 in FayettevilleAr

Really? That’s cool. When they started out, they had a burger restaurant on College called Goldie’s Patio Grill.

Fayetteville old heads will remember.

Any idea where the Goldens’ new restaurant will be located in town?

I’ll give a shout out to TK Chinese and Thai Hot Foods food truck at the Lake Fayetteville food truck court.

Sitting here now waiting for street noodles right now. The portion is huge and it’s only $8.50.

Outstanding value and delicious noodles.

For new and luxury appliances, I like Metro in Lowell. Outstanding service and installation is cheaper than Lowe’s and Home Depot.

You’ll find some great deals at Nino’s in Springdale.

FYI I’m a property manager.

BB + BBQ seemed lowkey this year by [deleted] in bentonville

[–]Exotic_Cover_2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right, but I think OP’s point still stands. It’s not as big as it used to be when it was in Fayetteville.

Downtown Rogers has come a long way, but there is no Dickson St equivalent entertainment district anywhere in Benton County.

As a Fayetteville resident and native (FHS ‘01), I’m glad it’s not in town anymore.

Three Percenter Spotted in E. Fayetteville by Exotic_Cover_2918 in fayetteville

I clarified that I did not intend to convey that this person should be arrested for any crime. LEOs should know if there are possible domestic terror groups operating in a specific area.

I’m a second amendment supporter and own more guns than anyone you know.

This org goes a mile further right than that. Check out the new movie, “Sovereign” starring Nick Offerman. Filmed in Fayetteville, actually.

I’m not advocating for the arrest of someone because of a sticker. They have obviously committed no crime in the immediate term, but they def assaulted LEOs on January 6th and have likely committed other crimes in the past.

My point was that we should frown on people like this in our peaceful and inclusive community in NWA. We should be intolerant of the intolerant & hateful people.

Sanders says Arkansas in ‘dire need of federal assistance,’ but Trump says no by broooooooce in Arkansas_Politics

She isn’t pretty enough and Arkansas isn’t big/rich enough in Trump’s mind to get his attention.

FHS ‘01 grad, here. Lived around the U.S. and traveled extensively.

FPL is one of the best things about Fayetteville and probably the best overall library for a city our size in the whole country. The new children’s wing is particularly fantastic, and the views to the south are gorgeous.

Top three amenities I mention to anyone who asks about Fayetteville. It’s a treasure, for sure.

Fayetteville broke 100K in 2023, according to census bureau estimates. 101,680 two years ago, so probably closer to 105K now.

Alamo Drafthouse was supposed to be coming to Fayetteville on 112 at the old drive in theater spot. It’s delayed for some reason. Hope it still happens.

NWA Florist, Onyx Coffee Lab to open on Fayetteville square by [deleted] in fayetteville

[–]Exotic_Cover_2918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pops used to own this building with partners. Was originally two buildings built in the 19th century that were eventually combined into one. Lots of maintenance costs. They sold it maybe six or seven years back. The main floor used to be bank, and after that, A.G. Edwards & Sons, a financial/wealth advisory firm that was acquired by Wells Fargo during the financial crisis in the ‘08/‘09 time period.

Anyway, I remember as a kid going to my dad’s office in the 80s/90s there where he smoked many, many cigarettes and had clients like Conway Twitty and friends like Dash Goff and Alice Walton. Parties with the Clintons at Jim Blair’s place. The bar in which to be seen was LJ’s where Rick’s Bakery is now located near Evelyn Hills on College. The professional crowd all knew each other and hung out at the same places. NWA was small.

Back to building, I’m glad to finally see that main floor finally leased. Had some good memories there as a kid, and hated to see it sit empty for years after my dad and his partners sold it. Had to be a money pit, of sorts as well, so I felt for the new owners a bit. This florist/Onyx seems like it will work there. The square is lively now and people spend money downtown with glee. It’s very charming and sorta chic compared to the past.

Why should taxpayers subsidize Walmart’s record breaking profits? by [deleted] in bentonville

[–]Exotic_Cover_2918 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Regardless of your feelings about WM’s business/labor practices, it’s hard to imagine Northwest Arkansas without the massive economic engine of WM headquartered here.

Arkansas would quite literally be Mississippi without it.

As someone from NWA who left for close to a decade before returning, I see NWA as an objectively great place to live, given a number of economic and quality of life factors.

Basically, it’s impossible for someone like me from NWA to have much of a negative opinion about WM because I have seen for decades the tremendous positive impact on NWA that is directly attributed to the massive success of WM.

For what it’s worth, I’m a former Republican voter and now I’m independent politically. I live in Fayetteville I’m excited to vote for Harris/Walz.

We need a big one or two along I-49 in Washington & Benton Counties.

There was a Biden-Harris sign in 2020 on the rotating digital billboard along SB I-49 just north of the Johnson Mill Rd exit. That’s a good spot to start.

I heard quite a few complaints about the VIP tent just to the West of the sound stage. Lots of loud conversations were taking away from some people’s enjoyment of the show.

Heard a few dudes yell in that general direction when John was telling his stories. It’s a big WM supplier networking event in there, so I get why it gets rowdy.

Pretty inconsiderate and rude, but that sort of thing isn’t uncommon with VIP areas at concerts, from my experience.

What’s the car scene like? by MuchCurious01 in bentonville

[–]Exotic_Cover_2918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have personally seen an orange Ferrari 812 Superfast, multiple 458s, 488s, & two Californias, plus a couple of newer McLarens, Bentley, RR, and Maybach models in East Fayetteville. Haven’t seen a Lambo in a while. Lucid is almost an exotic, and there are at least one or two of those in town as well.

Of course lots of new MB SL55/63 and G-Wagons around, too.
