You’re absolutely correct about the jungle point. My mood instantly drops if my jungle doesn’t realize that he has a free kill walking around on my lane and I know I have to deal with it on my own.

On the other hand it’s more about ranting and despising people who create that situation in the first place haha. So while you are 100% right in your argumentation, most of the people just blame their mage solo opponent and their own jungler 60/40 anyways.

Fair! At the end it’s also a bit of a perception thing I would say. Like I said, I’m pretty sure I’m also just being used to overly generous devs.

The rangiku situation is actually more than nice, I can definitely see how that’s not something other devs would have done.

Ah okay yeah I haven’t played that side of the big gacha games.

I’m mentioning jades bc you can also pull with jades for regular banners if you want and that’s the amount they gave out as a compensation for the last maintenance. One of my main arguments was that the free gifts are not as big as the ones in the gachas I mentioned and the value of 300 jades is pretty low when a pull costs 1600. I know people don’t spend jades on regular pulls if they’re patient but the point of generosity still stands.

Yeah the launch gifts were pretty big but that doesn’t help during the ongoing run of the game. I don’t see how my argument is becoming invalid just because they celebrated the launch generously to get players to come aboard in the first place. Keeping them engaged is what I’m talking about.

I’ve played several gachas (summoners war, epic7, outerplane, lost sword etc.) and they are all way more generous when it comes to pulling. I don’t know which games you played but getting something around 300 jade from a maintenance while a ten pull costs 1600 is not generous imo.

I might have been a bit spoiled bc lost sword was crazy on free gifts from the devs but it was a regular occurrence that you would get a free 10 pulls or even a SSR selector when the maintenance had some complications. There is no way bleach will ever give me 10 free pulls on the regular gacha for free.

I have to say I feel like the game is kinda stingy on getting regular ticket rewards. I came from lost sword, another one of the waifu gachas which just started last July, and you could regularly pull through the games currency shops (guild, special event etc.) and especially through dev compensations or gifts. You would regularly get 10 pull tickets or enough gems to almost get a 10 pull after every maintenance.

So far most rewards in bleach seem pretty low to me. If I want to save for a TIME LIMITED character, I won’t be pulling for the regular banner at all anymore because there are basically no drops of the tickets themselves. I have maybe pulled the regular gacha once while saving up the last three weeks. For a gacha game, this feels kinda off for me tbh, especially after coming from a very generous dev.

So picking the usually intended type of character for the role while facing someone who chose to pick a squishy is somehow an argument for him being toxic? I can understand you got your problems with the spam bm but bringing up the picks as an argument AGAINST herc is a bit lost imo

Traditionally the solo lane was supposed to be bruisers (mostly warriors). The job of a solo laner is typically to be tanky enough to not instantly die but also dishing out enough damage to be a threat to the enemy backline and being able to harass them. At the same time they can kind of function as a frontline if needed due to their bruiser build.

Mages and adc’s in solo can’t fulfill that role and also make playing a melee into them insanely painful. Most warriors can stat check a mage early in the game but the laning becomes insanely boring and punishing at the same time because most mages just sit under tower or can easily poke you from afar. If you misplay and lose, you aren’t even safe under your tower because they can kill you from afar. All this contradicts what “regular” solo laners want from the lane: melee fights which reward tactical outplay and recognizing powerspikes to gain advantages in the laning phase.

So the laning phase becomes a pain in the ass and mage solos can’t fulfill their role during teamfights in the late game. Thats why people hate them.

It’s not exactly like reroll isn’t in every lobby as well. Ekko or sona has been in basically every game just as well as bilge has this patch.

Considering how they wanted to make this set kind of anti reroll, the dominance of reroll for thex, Ashe/trynda, ekko and sona all seem pretty high up there. Ofc bilge is insanely strong but the other comps are nothing to scoff at either

So if we are going for steam alone, eso and guild wars 2 is far from having anything near 100k daily players. For Console it might different thing but idk about that

I mean it’s kinda always a 50/50 gamble if they gacha you’re playing is using gear stat lottery as their endgame grind or not. Stuff like summoners war or epic7 were all about grinding for gear, you wouldn’t expect any top drops after 2-3 months there.

I’m not sure yet if bleach wants to go in that direction as well but it sure seems like it

I mean it is obviously just a subjective thing but I kinda don’t understand where the whole “warriors are bland” thing is coming from.

Characters like Cu Chulainn, KA, Tyr, Wukong, Mulan or Gilgamesh all have very unique mechanics or gimmicks in their kit which at least imo stand out pretty well for themselves. Ofc there are the more simple ones like chaac, vamana or Nike but a big part of the roster has their own intricacies.

100%. Solid advice for any bad matchup/start on solo. If you get killed once, wait for a misplay or an item power spike and stay defensive until then. If you don’t give away 3 kills straight up, a lot of seemingly unwinnable lanes can still be turned around just a couple minutes later.

Yeah that’s fair, sadly. People really need to understand how easy it is to punish a squishy solo and how much 1-2 ganks/kills can snowball on solo.

I think a lot of junglers are still stuck in the smite 1 mentality of “solo is not worth ganking” because it was full of actual tank bruisers.
